Common Issues and Fixes
The widget is blank
A Meta Ad Widget may appear blank when the date range is too narrow, filters are too restrictive, or the connected Meta account does not have matching data. Widen the date range, remove filters, and confirm that the correct Meta ad account is connected.
The Meta Ads category is not visible
The Meta Ads category may not appear if the Meta connection is missing or the user does not have the right reporting permissions. Confirm the Meta integration and user permissions.
The report does not show the expected data
Check the widget’s date range, comparison range, filters, and selected metric.
Also confirm that the Meta ad account has data for the selected period.
FAQ
Do I need a separate Meta connection for every account?
Yes. Each account pulls data from the Meta ad account connected inside that account.
How often do Meta Ad Widgets refresh?
Meta Ad Widgets update automatically. No manual export is required.
Why is my widget blank after I add it?
Common causes include a narrow date range, restrictive filters, no eligible ad account, or missing LeadConnector permissions.
Which users can connect to Meta and add widgets?
Users need permission to manage ad connections and permission to edit dashboards or create reports.
Can I combine Google Ads and Meta Ads metrics on the same dashboard?
Yes. Add widgets from both reporting libraries to compare channels side by side.
Can I schedule a Meta-only report for clients?
Yes. Build a Custom Report using only Meta Ad Widgets, then schedule email delivery.
Will disabling the Meta integration affect existing widgets?
Yes. Widgets stop showing data until an eligible Meta ad account is reconnected. The widget layout and settings remain in place.
