Facebook Ads Reporting

Facebook Ads Reporting lets you view performance metrics for your Facebook ad campaigns inside Kyrios once your Facebook Ad account, tracking, and attribution are correctly configured.

Who This Is For / When to Use

This report is for account owners and marketers running Facebook ads who want to track impressions, clicks, conversions, costs, and revenue directly inside Kyrios.

Use this report after connecting a Facebook Ad account and correctly setting up pixels, Conversion API, and UTM tracking.


Prerequisites: Setup and Diagnostics

Before Facebook Ads data appears in reports, the following must be true:

  • The Facebook Ad Account integration is active.

  • The connected Facebook Ad Account has admin permissions.

  • You are a Facebook Page admin, or a Page admin has assigned you access.


Important Setup Notes (Read First)

  • If traffic is sent to a landing page, Facebook Pixel and Conversion API must be configured.

  • Facebook does not append UTM parameters in ad preview mode.

  • Do not use emojis or special characters in UTM parameters.

  • First attribution data is only recorded for supported entry points.

Supported Attribution Entry Points

  • Form submissions

  • Survey submissions

  • Calendar bookings

  • Facebook Lead Forms

  • Two-step order forms

  • Chat widget

  • Inbound click-to-call calls


Step 1: Add UTM Tracking (Required)

UTM parameters must be added in the Tracking section, not the Destination URL.

Where to Add UTMs

  1. Open Facebook Ads Manager.

  2. Select the campaign.

  3. Go to Manage Ads → Ads → Edit.

  4. Scroll to the Tracking section.


Step 2: Configure URL Parameters

Fill in the URL parameters exactly as shown below.

  1. Campaign Source: fb_ad

  2. Campaign Medium: {{adset.name}}

  3. Campaign Name: {{campaign.name}}

  4. Campaign Content: {{ad.name}}

  5. Click Add Parameter

  6. Parameter name: campaign_id

  7. Value: {{campaign.id}}

  8. Click Apply


UTM Data Available in Kyrios

Once configured, the following fields are available at the contact level:

  • Source

  • Campaign Name

  • Adset Name

  • Ad Name

  • Campaign ID

  • fbclid

  • gclid

  • Referrer


Step 3: Facebook Lead Form Mapping

When using Facebook Lead Ads:

  • Select the correct Facebook Page during integration.

  • Map Facebook form fields correctly.

Go to: Settings → Integrations → Facebook Form Fields


Step 4: Add Tracking Codes to Kyrios Sites

Add Main Tracking Code (All Pages)

  1. Go to Sites → Funnels/Websites.

  2. Select the funnel or website.

  3. Open the Settings tab.

  4. Paste the main tracking code into Head tracking code.


Add Event Tracking Codes (Specific Pages)

  1. Open the page in the Site Builder.

  2. Click the Tracking Code icon.

  3. Add code to Header tracking.

  4. Save changes.


Tracking with Meta Pixel ID

To track using Meta Pixel:

  1. Navigate to Sites → Funnels/Websites → Events.

  2. Click Add Event.

  3. Enter the Pixel ID.

  4. Select tracking level and events.

  5. Save.


Viewing Facebook Ads Reports

Step 1: Access the Report

  1. Go to Reporting.

  2. Click Facebook Ads Report.

  3. Select a date range in the top-right.

  4. Confirm the date selection to load data.


Step 2: Understanding the Report

The report includes metrics such as:

  • Impressions

  • Clicks

  • Conversions

  • Client spend

  • Average CPC

  • Cost per conversion

  • ROI

  • Leads and sales

You can customize table columns and export data as needed.


Running a One-Day Report

To view metrics for a single day:

  • Select the same date as both start and end date.

  • Confirm the date selection.

Example: January 1, 2022 must be selected as both start and end.


Common Issues and Fixes

Facebook Ads Data Is Missing

Cause:

  • UTM parameters are missing or incorrect

  • Integration permissions are incomplete

  • Entry points are unsupported

Fix: Verify UTM setup, Facebook permissions, and entry points.


Attribution Data Not Showing

Cause: Facebook preview mode does not pass UTMs.

Fix: Test using live ads and supported entry points.
