Rename Standard Objects

Rename standard CRM objects in Kyrios so labels match the language your team uses, without changing underlying data, automations, or API keys.

What Rename Standard Objects Does

Rename Standard Objects lets admins relabel standard CRM objects in Kyrios.

Supported standard objects include:

  • Contacts

  • Opportunities

  • Companies

Renaming an object changes display labels only. The underlying object keys, API fields, automations, reports, and integrations continue to work as before.

Open Settings

Click Settings from the left navigation menu.

Open Objects

In Settings, go to Objects under Other Settings. This page shows both standard objects and custom objects.

Edit a Standard Object

Find the standard object you want to rename. Click the three-dot menu, then click Edit. Use this action for Contacts, Opportunities, or Companies.

Rename the Object

In the object details page, update:

  • Object Name (Singular) for individual record labels.

  • Object Name (Plural) for list views, navigation, filters, and buttons.

Click Save changes.

Confirm the Updated Label

After saving, Kyrios updates the object label across the account. The updated name can appear in places such as:

  • Left navigation

  • Page titles

  • Record counts

  • Add buttons

  • Smart lists

  • Filters

  • Reports and dashboards

  • Related modules
