Using the Block Editor in Funnels and Websites

The Block Editor allows you to format and customize text inside funnels and websites with inline controls such as fonts, headings, lists, and dynamic values.

What the Block Editor Does

The Block Editor controls formatting inside a selected text element.

It allows you to:

  • Change font and heading levels

  • Apply bold, italic, underline, and links

  • Insert dynamic values (custom values)

  • Create bullet and numbered lists

  • Format text using subscript and superscript

The toolbar appears only when a text element is selected and text is highlighted.


When to Use Block Editor vs AI Page Revisions

Use Block Editor

  • Editing content inside one text element

  • Applying formatting (font, bold, lists)

  • Making quick manual updates

Use AI Page Revisions

  • Rewriting entire sections

  • Updating page-wide content

  • Changing layout or structure


Key Features

Font Selection

You can change the font of highlighted text directly in the toolbar.

Available fonts include Google Fonts such as:

  • Roboto

  • Open Sans

  • Montserrat

  • Lato

  • Poppins

Font changes apply only to the selected text.


Heading Levels

You can change text hierarchy using heading levels.

Available options include:

  • Heading 1 to Heading 6

Use headings to structure content and improve readability.


Dynamic Values (Custom Values)

You can insert dynamic values into text using the custom values picker.

Available categories include:

  • Contact

  • User

  • Appointment

  • Calendar

  • Account

  • Message

  • Campaign

Dynamic values update automatically based on the contact or workflow data.


Subscript and Superscript

You can apply:

  • Subscript (x₂)

  • Superscript (x²)

Use these for:

  • Formulas

  • Footnotes

  • Technical formatting

Bullet and Numbered Lists

Lists are created and managed directly in the editor.

Supported list types include:

Unordered lists:

  • Disc (●)

  • Circle (○)

  • Square (■)

Ordered lists:

  • Numbers (1, 2, 3)

  • Alphabetical (a, b, c / A, B, C)

  • Roman numerals (i, ii, iii / I, II, III)


How to Use the Block Editor

Step 1: Open the Page Editor

  1. Go to Sites.

  2. Open a funnel or website.

  3. Select a page to edit.


Step 2: Add or Select a Text Element

  1. Click Add Elements.

  2. Drag a Text or Headline element onto the page.

  3. Click inside the element to activate the editor.


Step 3: Format Text

  1. Highlight the text.

  2. Use the toolbar to apply:

    • Font

    • Heading level

    • Inline styles (bold, italic, underline)

    • Links


Step 4: Insert Dynamic Values (Optional)

  1. Click the custom values icon in the toolbar.

  2. Select the data category.

  3. Choose the value to insert.


Step 5: Create Lists

  1. Select text or start typing.

  2. Click the list icon.

  3. Choose bullet or numbered list style.


Step 6: Save Changes

Click Save or Publish to apply updates to the page.


Common Issues and Fixes

The toolbar is not visible

Select a text element and highlight text to display the Block Editor toolbar.

Font changes are not applying

Ensure the text is highlighted before selecting a font.

Dynamic values are not populating

Confirm the page or workflow provides the required data (for example, contact or appointment data).

List styles are not changing

Make sure the content is formatted as a list before applying a style.
