Funnel Builder: 101

This article provides an overview of Funnels and explains how to use the Funnel Builder to create, edit, and manage funnel steps and pages.

Step 1: Navigate to the Funnels Section

  1. Go to Sites > Funnels.

  2. View all existing funnels from the list.

  3. Click New Funnel to create one, or use the three-dot menu to manage an existing funnel.

Available actions include:

  • Edit

  • Clone

  • Move to folder

  • Share

  • Delete

Step 2: Open a Funnel and Review Funnel Tabs

After opening a funnel, multiple tabs are available for managing configuration and performance.

Funnel Tabs Overview

STEPS

  • Displays all funnel steps.

  • Each step represents a single page.

  • Steps can be reordered, edited, or removed.

OVERVIEW

  • Preview or edit the selected funnel step.

  • Access page variations and split testing.

PRODUCTS

  • Shows products associated with the selected funnel step.

  • Used for checkout and order pages.

PUBLISHING

  • Update the step name.

  • Configure the page path (slug).

STATS

The Stats tab displays performance data for each funnel step, including:

  • Total and unique page views

  • Opt-ins and opt-in rate

  • Sales, order quantity, and revenue

  • Average cart value

  • Earnings per page view

SALES (Deprecated)

This tab is deprecated.

  • All order and transaction data is now available under Payments > Orders and Payments > Transactions.

  • This tab may still display legacy data for older funnel versions.

SETTINGS

Use Settings to configure funnel-level options:

  • Funnel name

  • Domain selection

  • URL path

  • Favicon URL

  • Head and body tracking codes

  • Chat widget

  • Payment mode

  • Image and JavaScript optimization

  • GDPR-compliant fonts

SECURITY

The Security tab allows you to add custom security headers, such as:

  • Content-Security-Policy

  • Other HTTP security headers

These headers help protect your funnel from common web vulnerabilities.

EVENTS

The Events tab is used to track events via:

  • Pixel ID

  • Meta Conversion API

You can configure:

  • Pixel ID

  • Access Token

  • Event tracking level

Step 3: Open the Funnel Builder

  1. Select a funnel step.

  2. Click Edit to open the Funnel Builder.

The builder allows full visual customization of each page.

Funnel Builder Structure

Every funnel page is built using four layers, in this order:

  1. Sections

  2. Rows

  3. Columns

  4. Elements

Each layer must exist before adding the next.

Using Prebuilt Sections

Prebuilt sections allow fast page creation.

  1. Click the + icon.

  2. Open Prebuilt Sections.

  3. Choose from templates such as:

    • About

    • Testimonials

    • Team

    • Welcome

Editing Elements and Styles

Each element includes a right-side editor with tabs for:

  • General

  • Styles

  • Animations

You can control spacing, shadows, alignment, and visibility.

Controlling Font Weight

To change font weight:

  1. Select a text element.

  2. Open the Styles tab.

  3. Choose a font weight (100–900).

Ensure pre-formatted bold text is disabled to apply weight changes.

Adding Animations

Animations can be applied to:

  • Headings

  • Sub-headings

  • Paragraphs

  • Lists

Preview animations directly inside the builder before publishing.

Using the Custom Field and Value Picker

You can insert dynamic values into text elements:

  • Click the dynamic value icon

  • Or type { inside the text editor

Examples include:

  • City

  • State

  • User data

  • Campaign values

Keyboard Shortcuts

Keyboard shortcuts improve editing speed.

  1. Click the keyboard icon in the builder.

  2. Or press Shift + / to open the shortcut list.

Common shortcuts include:

  • Text formatting

  • Save

  • Undo

  • Preview

  • Exit editing

Autosave and Version History

  • Changes are automatically saved.

  • A new version is saved every 10 minutes if edits occur.

  • Up to 50 versions are stored per page.

  • You can restore previous versions at any time.

Additional notes:

  • All new funnels default to Version 2.

  • Only legacy funnels display the β€œV1” label.

How do I access the Funnels section?
