What Microsoft SNDS Tracks
Microsoft SNDS (Smart Network Data Services) provides visibility into how Microsoft evaluates your sending IPs.
This integration surfaces:
IP reputation signals
Spam filtering results
Complaint rates
Spam trap activity
Message volume metrics
Accessing the Microsoft SNDS Dashboard
Go to Settings > Email Services > Postmaster Tools.
Select Microsoft SNDS from the left menu.
IP Availability and Shared IP Notice
If your account uses shared IPs, you may see an “IP not found in your account” message.
This means:
Microsoft does not expose per-IP SNDS data for shared IPs.
Detailed IP-level metrics are only available for dedicated IP accounts.
CSV exports and feedback loop controls may be limited.

FAQ
What is Microsoft SNDS?
Microsoft SNDS is a reporting service that shows how Microsoft evaluates your sending IPs, including spam filtering, complaints, and trap activity.
How do I know if my IP is blocked?
Check the Blocked field in the IP status dashboard. A value of Yes means Microsoft is actively restricting the IP.
Why do I see “No data available” for some days?
Microsoft only reports data when an IP sends a meaningful volume (typically 100+ emails) to Microsoft recipients in a day. Lower volumes are hidden for privacy reasons.
What causes high spam rates?
Common causes include poor list hygiene, purchased lists, irrelevant content, and sudden increases in sending volume.
What should I do if there are spam trap hits?
Immediately clean your mailing list, remove inactive contacts, and review opt-in practices to prevent further reputation damage.
Can I track historical performance?
Yes. Use the dashboard for recent trends and Download CSV for long-term historical analysis.
