Use this guide if you want to:
Connect a YouTube account to the Social Planner
Schedule YouTube videos or Shorts in advance
Manage YouTube posting alongside other social platforms
Step 1: Open Social Planner Settings
Navigate to Websites, Funnels & Marketing.
Open Social Planner.
Click the Settings (gear icon) in the top-right corner.
Stay on the Social Accounts tab.
Click + Connect Social.
Step 2: Choose YouTube as the Platform
In the Connect social modal, click Connect YouTube.
Step 3: Sign in With Google
When prompted, select the Google account linked to your YouTube channel.
Or click Use another account to sign in with a different Google account.
Step 4: Confirm Google Authentication
Review the sign-in confirmation screen.
Click Continue to proceed.
Step 5: Grant Required Permissions
Review the permissions requested for YouTube access.
Ensure video and account management permissions are selected.
Click Continue.
Step 6: Verify YouTube Account Connection
After authorization, return to Social Planner Settings.
Confirm the YouTube account appears with Status: Connected.
Step 7: Create a New YouTube Post
Go back to Social Planner.
Click + New Post.
Select Create New Post.
Step 8: Configure Your YouTube Post
Select the connected YouTube account.
Enter your caption/description.
Upload your video or Short.
Choose Post Type:
Video
Short
(When Short is selected, “#shorts” is added automatically.)
Add a Title.
Set Privacy Level:
Public
Private
Unlisted
Optionally add a Follow-up comment.
Step 9: Preview and Customize Across Channels (Optional)
Use Customize for each channel if posting to multiple platforms.
Adjust captions or titles per platform.
Review posts using the high-resolution preview slider.
Step 10: Schedule the Post
Choose a date and time.
Click Schedule to publish later.
