Schedule YouTube Videos and Shorts in Social Planner

Use Social Planner to connect your YouTube channel and schedule Videos or Shorts with titles, descriptions, privacy settings, and optional follow-up comments.

Connect Your YouTube Channel to Social Planner

  1. Go to Marketing > Social Planner.

  2. Click Settings.

  3. Open the Social Accounts tab.

  4. Click Connect Social.

  1. Select Connect YouTube.

  2. Sign in with the Google account that owns or manages the YouTube channel.

Select the YouTube Channel

After authentication, Kyrios will display all YouTube channels available under the connected Google account.

  1. Search or locate the correct YouTube channel.

  2. Click Add next to the channel you want to connect.

Once added, the channel appears under Social Accounts and is ready for posting.

Create a YouTube Video or Short Post

  1. Go to Marketing > Social Planner.

  2. Click Create New Post.

  3. Select the connected YouTube channel under Post to.

Configure Post Content

Post Type

Choose one:

  • Video

  • Short

When Short is selected, #shorts is automatically appended to the title.

Caption (Description)

  • Add your video description

  • Include hashtags and emojis if desired

  • The character limit is shown in the editor

Title

  • Required for both Videos and Shorts

  • Maximum 100 characters

Privacy Level

Choose one:

  • Public

  • Unlisted

  • Private

Follow-Up Comment (Optional)

  • Add a comment that posts automatically after publishing

Preview and Schedule the Post

  1. Review the YouTube preview on the right side.

  2. Confirm title, description, and video format.

  3. Click Schedule or Post Now.

YouTube Video and Short Requirements

File Limits

  • Maximum video size: 1 GB

Thumbnails

  • Format: PNG or JPEG

  • Maximum size: 2 MB

  • Available for verified YouTube channels

Shorts Requirements

  • Maximum length: 60 seconds

  • Recommended aspect ratio: 9:16 (vertical)

Common Issues and Fixes

YouTube channel does not appear

  • Ensure you signed in with the correct Google account

  • Confirm you have permission to manage the channel

Short is not recognized as a Short

  • Verify video length is 60 seconds or less

  • Ensure vertical format (9:16)

  • Confirm #shorts is present in the title

Post fails to publish

  • Reconnect the YouTube channel

  • Check Google account permissions

  • Confirm the video file size is under 1 GB
