Social Planner notifications keep account users informed about key social posting events.

Notifications are delivered via email and can be customized per event.
Access Social Planner Notification Settings
Steps
Go to Marketing.
Select Social Planner.
Click the Settings (gear icon) next to New Post.
Open the Notifications tab.
Result:
All Social Planner notification settings are available for editing.
Edit Account Pre-Expiry Notifications
Pre-expiry notifications remind users to refresh an expiring social account connection.
Steps
Open Social Planner > Settings > Notifications.
Locate Account Pre-Expiry.
Click the pencil icon.
Select the account users who should receive the reminder.
Set the reminder frequency.
Choose an email template.
Save changes.
Note:
Users can refresh the connection from the integration page.
Edit Account Expired Notifications
Account expired notifications alert users when a social account connection must be reconnected.
Steps
Open Social Planner > Settings > Notifications.
Locate Account Expired.
Click the pencil icon.
Select the account users to notify.
Set the reminder frequency.
Choose an email template.
Save changes.
Edit Request for Post Approval Notifications
Request-for-approval notifications are sent when a scheduled post requires review.
Steps
Open Social Planner > Settings > Notifications.
Locate Request for Approval.
Click the pencil icon.
Select an email template.
Save changes.
Edit Approved Post Notifications
Approved post notifications confirm when a scheduled post is approved.
Steps
Open Social Planner > Settings > Notifications.
Locate Post Approved.
Click the pencil icon.
Select an email template.
Save changes.
Edit Rejected Post Notifications
Rejected post notifications inform users when a post is not approved.
Steps
Open Social Planner > Settings > Notifications.
Locate Post Rejected.
Click the pencil icon.
Select an email template.
Save changes.
Edit Failed Post Notifications
Failed post notifications alert users when a post does not publish successfully.
Steps
Open Social Planner > Settings > Notifications.
Locate Post Failed.
Click the pencil icon.
Select an email template.
Save changes.
Change the Default Email Template for Notifications
Notification templates are managed from the Emails section.
Steps
Go to Emails > Templates.
Click New.
Select Email Marketing Template.
Open the System Template library.
Load a system template.
Edit the template content.
Save the template.
Return to Social Planner > Notifications.
Assign the new template to the desired notification.
Result:
The selected template becomes the default for that notification type.
