This article is for users who manage booking calendars and want to temporarily stop accepting appointments for a specific service.
Use this when:
You are not offering a service for a period of time
You want to pause bookings without deleting a calendar
You plan to re-enable the service later
What Happens When a Calendar Service Is Disabled
When you disable a calendar service:
The service stops accepting new bookings
Existing calendar data is preserved
The calendar appears grayed out in the Calendars view
The service can be re-enabled at any time
Disabling is recommended instead of deleting when the pause is temporary.
How to Disable a Calendar Service
Navigate to Calendars in the main menu
Locate the calendar service you want to disable
Click the three-dot (⋯) menu on the right side of the calendar
Select Disable Service
When prompted, click OK to confirm
Once disabled, the calendar name will appear grayed out.
How to Enable a Calendar Service
In Calendars, find the disabled (grayed-out) calendar service
Click the three-dot (⋯) menu
Select Enable Service
The calendar service will be instantly re-enabled and available for bookings.
Common Issues and Fixes
Calendar still shows as unavailable: Refresh the page after enabling the service
Can’t see the Enable option: Ensure the calendar is currently disabled
Bookings not coming through: Confirm availability settings after re-enabling
