Share Review Posts on Social Media Using Social Planner

You can automatically publish customer reviews to social media using Social Planner by creating Review Posts with customizable backgrounds, filters, and scheduling rules.

Step 1: Open Review Posts in Social Planner

  1. Go to Marketing → Social Planner

  2. Click New Post

  3. Select Post Reviews from the dropdown menu

Step 2: Select Review Source and Social Accounts

Select Review Source

Choose where reviews will be pulled from:

  • Google

  • Facebook

Only review sources connected through Reputation Management integrations are available.

Choose Social Accounts

Select the social accounts where review posts will be published.

Each selected account will receive review posts based on the configured schedule.

Step 3: Configure Review Posting Rules

Rating Range

Choose which reviews are eligible to post.
Examples:

  • 4 stars & above

  • 1 star & above

Only reviews within the selected range are published.

Maximum Number of Posts

Set the maximum number of review posts per schedule cycle.

If more eligible reviews exist than the limit:

  • Only the allowed number is published

  • Remaining reviews are skipped

Posting Frequency and Time

Choose:

  • Daily, weekly, or monthly posting

  • A specific posting time

Reviews received after the scheduled time are queued for the next cycle.

Step 4: Select or Upload Background Images

Background Selection

You can:

  • Choose from built-in background templates

  • Upload custom background images

If multiple backgrounds are selected, they rotate automatically between posts.

Background Image Requirements

  • File size: Up to 5MB

  • Format: JPG or PNG

  • Dimensions: 1024 × 1024 (1:1 ratio)

Step 5: Customize Review Appearance

You can customize:

  • Caption text

  • Font family and size

  • Text color and opacity

  • Star color

  • Author name display (full name, initials, or hidden)

A live preview shows how the review will appear on each platform.

Step 6: Review Content and Save

Review the final layout before saving:

  • Text formatting

  • Star rating display

  • Background alignment

Save and Activate

Click Next to save the Review Post.

Once saved:

  • Review posts are published automatically based on your schedule

  • No manual posting is required

Managing Review Posts After Creation

You can manage Review Posts at any time.

  1. Go to Social Planner → Content → Review

  2. From here you can:

    • Pause posting

    • Edit settings

    • Delete configurations

How Review Posting Works (Example)

If:

  • A new review is received on January 1 at 6:00 PM

  • Your schedule allows 5 posts per day at 8:37 AM

Then:

  • The review is published on January 2 at 8:37 AM

  • If more than 5 eligible reviews exist, only 5 are posted

How do I upload a background for review posts?

Upload or select a background during the background selection step when creating a Review Post.

What are the background image requirements?

Images must be JPG or PNG, under 5MB, and sized 1024 × 1024.

Can I control which reviews are posted?

Yes. You can filter reviews by star rating and select specific social accounts.

Can I change the posting frequency?

Yes. Review Posts can be scheduled daily, weekly, or monthly at a set time.

What happens if more reviews exist than my limit?

Only the configured number is posted. Extra reviews are skipped.

Can I pause or stop review posting?

Yes. Review Post configurations can be paused, edited, or deleted from the Content tab.

Are reviews posted immediately when received?

No. Reviews are posted at the next scheduled time.
