Payment Links let you create and share secure checkout links for one-time or recurring products without building a website or funnel.

Who This Is For / When to Use

Use Payment Links if you want to:

  • Collect payments quickly without a full website or funnel

  • Send checkout links via email, SMS, social media, or chat

  • Sell one-time products, subscriptions, or bundled offers

  • Automate post-payment actions using workflows

What Are Payment Links

Payment Links are shareable checkout URLs that allow customers to complete payments online.

Each Payment Link can include:

  • One-time products

  • Recurring services or subscriptions

  • Multiple products bundled into a single checkout

  • Optional coupons, quantity controls, and redirect behavior

Payment Links work independently or alongside invoices, funnels, and workflows.

How to Create a Payment Link

Step 1: Open the Payments Section

  1. Log in to your Kyrios account

  2. From the main dashboard, navigate to Payments

Step 2: Open Payment Links

  • In the Payments section, select Payment Links from the top menu

Step 3: Start a New Payment Link

  • Click Create Payment Link to begin the setup process

Configure Payment Link Settings

Each Payment Link is configured through clearly defined settings.

Product Selection

  • Choose the product or service you want to sell

  • You can include:

    • One-time products

    • Recurring services

    • A combination of both in a single link

Customers will see all selected items in one checkout experience.

Pricing Options

  • Set pricing for each product

  • Choose between:

    • One-time payments

    • Recurring subscriptions

Billing Frequency (Recurring Products)

If the product is recurring, select a billing frequency such as:

  • Weekly

  • Monthly

  • Custom intervals

Additional Payment Link Settings

Deactivation Date

  • Set a deactivation date for the payment link

  • Once the date is reached, the link becomes inactive automatically

This is useful for limited-time offers or promotions.

Editable Quantities

  • Allow customers to adjust product quantities at checkout

  • Set minimum and maximum limits (for example, 1–10 units)

Customers cannot purchase outside the defined range.

Custom URL Redirection

  • Redirect customers to a custom URL after successful payment

  • Common uses include:

    • Thank-you pages

    • Onboarding pages

    • Booking pages

Custom Terms and Conditions

  • Add custom terms and conditions below the Pay button

  • Hyperlinks are supported for linking to full policy pages

Coupon Codes

  • Enable coupon codes for the payment link

  • Customers can enter a coupon during checkout

You can also auto-apply coupon codes so discounts are applied automatically when the link is opened.

Customize Payment Link Branding

Payment Links inherit your brand styling automatically.

To customize:

  1. Go to Payments β†’ Settings

  2. Choose one of the following:

    • Apply your Brand Board

    • Use Choose Theme to customize colors

Once saved, all Payment Links display the selected theme.

Preview the Payment Link

  • Use the preview panel on the right side of the editor

  • Review the checkout experience exactly as customers will see it

Save and Share the Payment Link

Standard Payment Links

  • Copy the generated payment link

  • Share it via:

    • Email

    • SMS

    • Social media

    • Messaging apps

    • Chat conversations

Personalized Payment Links

Personalized Payment Links pre-fill customer information.

To create them:

  1. Create a new Payment Link

  2. Select multiple contacts from the dropdown

  3. Configure email or SMS templates

  4. Include placeholders for contact-specific data

When recipients open the link, their details are already filled in.

Supported Payment Methods (Stripe)

If your account uses Stripe, additional payment methods may be available, including:

  • iDEAL (Netherlands)

  • Bancontact (Belgium)

  • SEPA Direct Debit (European Union)

Availability depends on your Stripe configuration.

Use Payment Links in Email and SMS Templates

Insert Payment Links into Templates

  1. Navigate to Email or SMS Templates

  2. Use Custom Values to insert the payment link

  3. Save the template

  4. Use it in campaigns or workflows

This allows fully automated, personalized payment requests.

Automate Actions After Payment

Payment Link Workflow Trigger

  • Use the Order Submitted trigger in workflows

  • Trigger actions such as:

    • Sending confirmation emails

    • Updating CRM records

    • Adding tags

    • Enrolling contacts in onboarding sequences

Common Issues and Fixes

Payment Link Shows as Expired

  • Check if a deactivation date has passed

  • Update or remove the deactivation date if needed

Coupon Code Not Applying

  • Confirm the coupon is enabled on the Payment Link

  • Verify spelling and capitalization

  • Check whether the coupon is auto-applied or manual

Can I set an expiration date for a payment link?

Yes. You can set a deactivation date, and once that date is reached, the payment link automatically becomes inactive.

Can customers adjust item quantities on a payment link?

Yes. You can enable editable quantities and define minimum and maximum limits.

Can I apply coupon codes to payment links?

Yes. Customers can enter coupon codes at checkout, or you can auto-apply coupon codes when sending the link.

Can I redirect customers after payment?

Yes. Payment Links support custom URL redirection after successful payment.

How do personalized payment links work?

Personalized Payment Links are generated by selecting contacts when creating the link. Customer information is pre-filled to speed up checkout.

Can payment links be shared outside Kyrios?

Yes. Payment Links can be shared via email, SMS, social media, messaging apps, or any external channel.

What happens if a customer clicks an expired link?

The customer sees a message explaining that the offer is no longer available. This is useful for limited-time or early-bird promotions.
