Who This Is For / When to Use
Use this when you want to:
Collect one-time donations through a form
Allow donors to choose a suggested amount or enter a custom amount
Accept payments directly inside a Kyrios form
Access the Form Builder
Go to Sites in the left navigation.
Click Forms.
From the dropdown, select Builder.
Click + Add Form in the top-right corner.
Add the Collect Payment Element
In the form builder, click the + icon on the left.
Under Payments, select Collect Payment.
Drag the element into your form layout.
Configure Payment Settings
All payment configuration is done from the right-hand settings panel when the Collect Payment element is selected.
Enable or Disable Live Mode
Live Mode ON: Processes real payments.
Live Mode OFF: Allows test submissions without charging.
Use Live Mode only when you are ready to accept real donations.
Choose the Payment Type
Collect Payment
Use this option to collect a one-time donation or fixed payment amount.
The donor completes payment directly in the form.
Sell Product
Use this option to sell an existing product.
Products must be created first under Payments > Products.
Suggest Donation Amounts
Toggle Suggest an amount ON.
Add one or more suggested donation values.
Donors can click a suggested amount instead of typing.
If Suggest an amount is toggled OFF, donors must manually enter an amount.
Allow a Custom Donation Amount
Enable Include other amount.
A custom input field appears for donors to enter their own amount.
Optional: Customize the placeholder text.
Select the Payment Currency
Click Select Currency.
Choose the currency you want to receive payments in.
The selected currency applies to all suggested and custom amounts.
Save and Publish the Form
Click Save in the top-right corner.
Embed or share the form.
Each submission processes a one-time payment or donation.
Common Issues and Fixes
Payments not processing
Confirm Live Mode is enabled.
Verify a payment method is connected in Payments settings.
Suggested amounts not showing
Ensure Suggest an amount is toggled ON.
Confirm at least one amount is added.
Custom amount field missing
Verify Include other amount is enabled.

What is Live Mode?
Live Mode processes real payments. Turn it off to safely test forms without charging.
Can I collect a fixed donation amount?
Yes. Use Collect Payment and disable suggested amounts.
What does “Suggest an amount” do?
It displays preset donation options that donors can select with one click.
What does “Include other amount” mean?
It allows donors to enter a custom donation amount.
Can I choose the currency for payments?
Yes. Select the desired currency in the payment settings.
Can I sell a product instead of collecting a donation?
Yes. Choose Sell Product and select a product created under Payments > Products.
Can I set up recurring donations using forms?
No. The Collect Payment element supports one-time payments only.
