How Time Delay Works in Kyrios
Kyrios uses the Countdown element (Minute Timer) as a time-delay controller.
The timer:
Runs for a set duration
Triggers actions when it expires
Can show or hide other elements
Can remain completely invisible to visitors
Step 1: Hide the Element You Want to Reveal Later
To make an element appear after a delay, it must be hidden first.
Click the element you want to delay.
In the right-side settings panel, open Styles.
Scroll to Visibility.
Disable visibility for both Desktop and Mobile.
Result:
The element is now hidden and ready to be revealed by a timer.
Step 2: Add a Minute Timer to the Page
The Minute Timer controls when hidden elements appear.
In the top-left builder toolbar, click +.
Open Quick Add.
Select Countdown.
Choose Minute Timer.
Result:
The Minute Timer is added to the page (usually at the top center).
Step 3: Configure the Timer Duration
Set how long the delay should last.
Click the Minute Timer.
In the right panel, stay under General.
Enter the desired time:
Hours
Minutes
Seconds
Result:
The timer now counts down for the exact delay duration you need.
Step 4: Set Expire Actions to Show or Hide Elements
This step defines what happens when the timer reaches zero.
Scroll to Expire Actions.
Set Expire Action to Show & Hide Element.
Click Show Elements.
Select the elements you want to appear.
Save the changes.
Result:
When the timer expires, the selected elements become visible.
Step 5: Hide the Timer (Optional but Recommended)
If you want the delay to run without displaying the timer:
Click the Minute Timer.
Open Styles.
Scroll to Visibility.
Disable visibility for both Desktop and Mobile.
Result:
The timer runs invisibly while still controlling element visibility.

FAQ
What should I do if I accidentally hide an element I didn’t want to hide?
Go to Elements > Manage and click the eyeball icon next to the element to toggle its visibility.
What’s the difference between a countdown timer and a time delay feature?
In Kyrios, the countdown timer is the time delay feature. It controls when actions occur based on the duration you set.
Can I use different timers for different elements on the same page?
Yes. You can add multiple timers, and each timer can control different elements independently.
What happens when the timer expires?
When the timer reaches zero, the configured Expire Action runs—such as showing or hiding selected elements.
Can I preview how delayed elements will behave?
Yes. Use the builder’s preview mode to see exactly how elements appear after the delay.
Can I make an element disappear after a certain amount of time?
Yes. Use Show & Hide Element in the Expire Action and select which elements should hide when the timer ends.
Do I have to use a countdown timer to delay elements?
Yes. Within the Funnel and Website Builder, the Minute Timer is the supported method for time-based visibility control.
