Use Bulk Actions in Contacts or Smart Lists to permanently delete multiple contacts at once.

Who This Is For / When to Use

  • Account users cleaning up contact data.

  • Teams removing inactive, outdated, or duplicate contacts.

  • Admins performing one-time database maintenance.


Select Contacts for Deletion

  1. Navigate to CRM > Contacts or open a Smart List.

  2. Select contacts using the checkboxes next to each contact.

  3. To select all contacts on the current page, use the checkbox in the table header.

  4. After selecting page contacts, click the Select all contacts link to include every contact in the list.

Result: The bulk action toolbar becomes active.


Delete Selected Contacts

  1. With contacts selected, open the bulk actions menu.

  2. Click the Delete (trashcan) option.

  3. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Result: All selected contacts are permanently removed from the account.


What Happens When a Contact Is Deleted

Deleting a contact permanently removes it from all related areas, including:

  • Conversations

  • Notes

  • Opportunities

  • Tasks

  • Appointments

  • Manual actions

  • Campaigns

Important: This action cannot be undone.
