How to Create and Customize QR Codes

Kyrios QR Codes let you create, customize, manage, and track QR codes that link to websites, reviews, forms, payments, and more.

Who This Is For / When to Use

This feature is for users who want to:

  • Share links through scannable QR codes

  • Track QR scan performance with analytics

  • Customize QR codes with branding and logos

  • Update QR destinations without regenerating images

What You Can Do With QR Codes

QR Codes in Kyrios support:

  • Multiple destination types (websites, reviews, forms, payments, etc.)

  • Full visual customization (colors, shapes, logos, transparency)

  • Bulk creation using CSV uploads

  • Scan analytics and performance tracking

  • Folder-based organization

Accessing QR Codes

  1. Log in to your Kyrios account

  2. Navigate to Sites

  3. Click QR Codes

This opens the QR Code dashboard where all QR codes are listed and managed.

Creating QR Codes


Individual QR Code Creation

  1. Go to Sites > QR Codes

  2. Click Create QR Code

  3. Enter a name for the QR code

  4. Select a QR Code type

QR Code Types

You can create QR codes for the following destinations:

  • Website

  • Review Link

  • Call

  • SMS

  • Email

  • Payment Links

  • WhatsApp Chats

  • Funnels

  • Forms

  • Surveys

  • Quizzes

  • Profile Card

  • V Card

  • Business Card

Each type displays only the fields required for that destination.

Destination Configuration by Type

Review Link

  • Enter review destination details

  • Configure header and footer text

Website

  • Enter the website URL

Call

  • Enter the phone number to dial

SMS

  • Enter the phone number

  • Pre-fill the SMS message

Email

  • Enter recipient email

  • Add subject and pre-filled message

Other destinations (funnels, forms, surveys, quizzes, WhatsApp, payments) require selecting an existing item from the dropdown.

Important: Funnels, forms, surveys, and quizzes must already exist to appear as options.

Dynamic QR Codes (Destination Updates)

QR code destinations can be updated later without regenerating the QR image.

This allows you to:

  • Change links

  • Update campaigns

  • Reuse printed QR codes

Bulk QR Code Creation

Bulk QR Codes allow you to generate multiple QR codes at once.

How Bulk Creation Works

  1. Go to Sites > QR Codes

  2. Click Create Bulk QR Codes

  3. Upload a CSV file containing:

    • QR code names

    • Destination URLs

  4. (Optional) Select a folder

  5. Submit to generate QR codes instantly

If no folder is selected, QR codes are saved to the root directory.

Customizing QR Code Design

You can customize:

  • Colors

  • Shapes and forms

  • Logo placement

  • Background images

Transparent QR Codes

To create a transparent QR code:

  1. Set the background opacity to zero using the alpha slider

  2. Export as PNG

  3. Place the PNG over any background without white space

Saving and Downloading QR Codes

Once customization is complete:

  1. Save the QR code

  2. Download in your preferred format

Available Formats

  • PNG – Best for digital use

  • SVG – Scalable with no quality loss (recommended for print)

  • PDF – Suitable for A4 printing

Managing QR Codes

Moving QR Codes

  1. Click the three-dot menu on a QR code

  2. Select Move to Folder

  3. Choose a destination folder or root

QR Code Folders

Folders help organize QR codes by:

  • Campaign

  • Event

  • Channel

Folders do not affect QR functionality.

QR Code Analytics

The analytics dashboard shows:

  • Scan frequency

  • Usage trends

  • Engagement over time

Use this data to optimize placement and campaigns.

Editing Existing QR Codes

You can:

  • Update destinations

  • Modify design settings

  • Re-test QR codes

Changes apply instantly without changing the QR image.

The QR Code list supports:

  • Bulk actions (move, delete, download)

  • Inline renaming

  • Quick link copying

How to Use Bulk Actions

  1. Select one or more QR codes using checkboxes

  2. Choose an action (move, delete, download)

⚠️ Bulk deletions are permanent.

Best Practices

  • Always test QR codes before publishing

  • Use SVG for printed materials

  • Monitor analytics regularly

  • Keep designs simple for reliable scanning

Where can I find my saved QR codes?

Navigate to Sites > QR Codes to view all saved QR codes.

Can I test a QR code before saving?

Yes. QR codes can be tested instantly during creation.

Do I need to download the QR image to share it?

No. You can share the QR code link directly.

Can I add my logo to the center of the QR code?

Yes. Upload a logo in the customization settings. Keep it small to ensure scannability.

Does moving a QR code to a folder change its link?

No. Folder placement is for organization only.

Are there Safari or Mac limitations?

Some Safari versions may produce lower-quality PNG downloads. SVG format is recommended for best results.

Can I undo a bulk delete?

No. Deleted QR codes cannot be recovered.
