Updated over 2 months ago

Who This Is For / When to Use

Use this process if you want to:

  • Email leads sourced from Lead Finder

  • Add new leads into an automation safely

  • Warm up sending domains and inboxes

  • Avoid account or email delivery issues

Best Practice: Use Drip Mode

Leads from Lead Finder should always be added to automations using Drip Mode.

Why this matters:

  • Prevents sudden spikes in email volume

  • Reduces the risk of email provider blocks

  • Supports healthy inbox and domain reputation

Drip Mode sends emails gradually instead of all at once.

Step 1: Select Leads in Lead Finder

  1. Open Lead Finder.

  2. Locate the leads you want to email.

  3. Select:

    • Individual leads, or

    • Select All to include all visible leads.

This selection determines which leads are added to the automation.

Step 2: Add Leads to an Automation in Drip Mode

  1. Click Bulk Actions.

  2. Select Add to Campaign.

  3. Choose the automation you want to enroll the leads into.

  4. Enable Drip Mode.

Drip Mode controls how many leads enter the automation per day.

Step 3: Configure Email Warm-Up Settings

To protect email deliverability, follow this recommended ramp-up schedule.

Recommended sending limits:

  • Week 1: Add 10 leads per day

  • Week 2: Add 20 leads per day

  • Week 3: Add 30 leads per day

  • Continue increasing gradually each week

This slow increase helps “warm up” your sending inbox.

Step 4: Set Sending Days and Times

  1. Select which days of the week emails should send.

  2. Choose the time window for email delivery.

Spacing emails across business hours improves engagement and deliverability.

What Happens After Leads Are Added

  • Leads are enrolled into the automation gradually

  • Emails send based on your drip, day, and time settings

  • Delivery remains stable without overwhelming inbox providers

Common Issues and Fixes

Emails are not sending

  • Confirm the automation is published

  • Verify Drip Mode is enabled

  • Check that sending days and times are selected

Account email limits reached

  • Reduce the daily drip amount

  • Pause enrollment temporarily

  • Resume with lower daily limits

This is especially important for Lead Finder leads, but Drip Mode is recommended for all cold or newly added leads.
