Who This Is For / When to Use
Users who want to send and receive personal emails inside Kyrios
Teams that need full email visibility in contact conversations
Accounts that want true bidirectional sync (Gmail ↔ Kyrios)
What Gmail 2-Way Email Sync Does
When enabled, Gmail 2-Way Email Sync ensures:
Emails sent from Kyrios appear in your Gmail Sent folder
Replies sent from Gmail appear in Kyrios Conversations
Incoming emails from contacts sync automatically into Kyrios
The connected Gmail address is used as the sender address for individual emails
This sync applies only to 1:1 individual emails, not bulk or workflow emails.

How Email Sync Works in Practice
Sending Emails from Kyrios
The From address is automatically populated with the connected Gmail address
Emails are sent directly through Gmail
Sent emails appear in:
Kyrios contact conversation
Gmail Sent folder
Receiving and Replying to Emails
Replies sent from Gmail sync back into Kyrios automatically
The full email thread remains synchronized between both platforms
Conversation Thread Sync
Once an email thread is initiated:
All replies—whether sent from Kyrios or Gmail—remain synced
The conversation is linked to the contact record in Kyrios
Auto BCC Sync (Optional)
Auto BCC allows emails sent from Gmail or Outlook to be logged in Kyrios even if the conversation did not start in Kyrios.
How to Use Auto BCC
Go to Settings > My Profile
Copy the Auto BCC address
Add it to the CC or BCC field when sending emails from Gmail or Outlook
Result:
The email is logged in Kyrios
The contact is created (if not already present)
Future replies from that contact will auto-sync

FAQ
Does Gmail 2-Way Sync work with bulk emails?
No. Bulk emails are sent through the account’s email provider, not Gmail.
Will disconnecting Gmail delete existing emails?
No. Previously synced emails remain in Kyrios and Gmail.
Do new emails sync after disconnecting?
No. Only emails sent or received before disconnecting remain synced.
Are existing Gmail contacts synced into Kyrios?
Yes. Existing Gmail contacts are identified and linked, but past emails sent before connection are not retroactively synced.
What happens when a contact replies to an email?
The reply appears in both Gmail and the Kyrios conversation thread automatically.
How are CC and BCC recipients handled?
CC and BCC details are logged under the primary contact’s conversation, but no new contacts are created for those addresses.
What if my Gmail password changes?
You will be prompted to re-authenticate Gmail to restore the secure connection.
What happens if I forward an email from Gmail?
Forwarded emails are logged in Kyrios as sent messages under the associated contact.
What happens with duplicate emails sent to multiple contacts?
The email is associated with the first created contact in Kyrios.
