Forwarding Address, BCC, and Reply-To Settings for Email

Configure forwarding addresses, BCC recipients, reply-to behavior, and assigned-user forwarding to control how email replies and copies are delivered in Kyrios.

Who This Is For / When to Use

Use this when you need email replies or outbound emails copied to external inboxes, routed to assigned users, or redirected away from the Conversations tab.


Accessing Reply & Forward Settings

  1. Go to Settings.

  2. Select Email Services.

  3. Open the Reply & Forward Settings tab.


Forwarding Address

What It Does

Sends a copy of incoming email replies to one or more external email addresses while still logging the reply in the Conversations tab.

Key Behavior

  • Replies always appear in Conversations.

  • Forwarded copies are sent to the specified email addresses.

  • Both incoming and outgoing emails (To, CC, BCC) count toward email usage charges.

How to Configure

  1. In Forwarding Address, enter one or more email addresses.

  2. Press Enter after each address.

  3. Click Save.

Limits and Rules

  • You can add multiple addresses.

  • Addresses cannot use the same domain as your sending domain (prevents mail loops).

    • Example: If your sending domain is yourdomain.com, you cannot forward to @yourdomain.com.

Important Note

If you reply to a forwarded email from your personal inbox, that reply will not sync back into Kyrios.


Forward to Assigned User

What It Does

Automatically forwards email replies to the Kyrios user assigned to the lead/contact.

When to Use

Use this if each assigned user should receive replies directly in their own inbox.

How to Enable

  1. Toggle Forward to assigned user ON.

  2. Click Save.


BCC Emails

What It Does

Sends a copy of every outbound email sent from the account to specified BCC addresses.

Use Case

Ideal for internal record-keeping, compliance, or shared visibility of outbound emails.

How to Configure

  1. Enter one or more addresses in BCC Emails.

  2. Press Enter after each address.

  3. Click Save.


Reply Address (Reply-To)

What It Does

Overrides the default reply behavior so all replies go to the specified address instead of Conversations.

Critical Behavior

  • Replies sent to a custom reply address will not appear in the Conversations tab.

  • Conversations will not be tracked once this is enabled.

How to Configure

  1. Enter up to 5 email addresses in the Reply Address field.

  2. Press Enter after each address.

  3. Click Save.

Warning

If replies are handled outside Kyrios, conversation history will be lost inside the platform.


Common Issues and Fixes

Forwarding emails disappear after saving

Cause:

  • Invalid email format, or

  • Address conflicts with a dedicated sending domain.

Fix:

  • Verify the address format.

  • Ensure the domain does not match your sending domain.


Attachments not included in forwarded emails

Cause:
Forwarding does not support attachments.

Fix:

  • View and download attachments directly from the Conversations tab.


Replies not syncing into Kyrios

Cause:

  • Replying from a personal inbox, or

  • Using a custom Reply Address.

Fix:

  • Reply directly inside Kyrios Conversations to maintain tracking.
