How Notion Triggers Work (Important)

  • Notion triggers use polling

  • Kyrios checks Notion every 5 minutes

  • Triggers are not real-time but are reliable and consistent

Common Issues and Fixes

Trigger Does Not Run

  • Ensure the Notion item was created or updated after the trigger was saved

  • Confirm the correct database or page is selected

  • Re-run Test Trigger

Action Fails to Create or Update Items

  • Verify the connected Notion workspace has edit permissions

  • Ensure mapped fields exist and match Notion property types

  • Avoid excessive actions that may hit Notion API limits

Data Not Syncing as Expected

  • Reconnect the Notion integration

  • Re-test the trigger to refresh metadata

  • Confirm the correct database or page is referenced

Pricing & Limits

  • All Notion triggers and actions are Premium

  • Each execution may count toward workflow usage

  • Notion free plans are supported, but API limits still apply
