Who This Is For / When to Use

Use this when you want to change the visual style of a dashboard, apply brand colors, or adjust how widgets and charts appear.

What Are Dashboard Themes

Dashboard Themes control the visual styling of your dashboard, including:

  • Widget background colors

  • Chart and metric colors

  • Text and link colors

Themes can be applied at the dashboard level and optionally adjusted for individual widgets.

Step 1: Open the Dashboard

  1. Navigate to Dashboards.

  2. Open the dashboard you want to customize.

Step 2: Enter Edit Mode

  1. Click the pencil icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard.

  2. The dashboard enters edit mode.

Step 3: Open the Themes Panel

  1. In the configuration sidebar, select the Themes tab.

  2. The Configure Dashboard Theme panel opens.

Step 4: Choose a Predefined Theme

  1. Browse the available theme tiles.

  2. Click a theme to preview it on the dashboard.

Changes are shown immediately so you can review before saving.

Step 5: Create or Customize a Theme

Customize Theme Colors

Under Custom color options, adjust:

  • Title Text Color

  • Background Color

  • Metric Color

  • Chart Color

  • Link Color

Reset Theme Colors

Click Reset to revert custom colors back to the selected theme’s default settings.

Step 6: Save Theme Changes

  1. Review the theme preview.

  2. Click Save Changes to apply the theme to the dashboard.

The theme is applied immediately to all widgets on the dashboard.

Optional: Customize Individual Widget Themes
