What Are Membership Themes?

Membership Themes define the layout, colors, fonts, and structure of your product pages.

You can:

  • Use a default system theme.

  • Customize individual sections.

  • Save themes for reuse across products.

Section-level customizations always override theme-level settings.

Step 1: Open a Product to Manage Themes

  1. Go to Memberships → Courses → Products.

  2. Select the product you want to customize.

Step 2: Open the Customize Tab

  1. Inside the product, click Customize in the left sidebar.

  2. The current active theme is displayed at the top.

Step 3: Browse or Select a Theme

  1. Click Browse Templates to view available themes.

  2. You can choose:

    • A system theme

    • A previously saved custom theme

The selected theme becomes the base for customization.

Step 4: Customize the Theme Layout

When the theme editor opens, use the left-side editor to customize sections.

Save

  • Saves the theme.

  • Can be reused for other products later.

Draft Themes

  • You can save a customized theme without applying it.

  • Draft themes can be applied later to a product.

How Overrides Work

  • Theme settings apply globally to the product.

  • Section-level changes override theme-level settings.

  • Resetting a section restores that section to theme defaults.

Common Issues and Fixes

My changes didn’t apply

  • Click Apply to apply the theme to the product.

  • Clicking Save alone does not apply it.

A section looks different from the theme

  • That section likely has custom overrides enabled.

Other products didn’t update

  • Themes do not update existing products automatically.

  • Reapply the updated theme to other products.
