What Is Universal Search
Universal Search is a global search tool available from the top of the Kyrios interface. It allows you to:
Search across multiple record types at once
Filter results by category
Instantly open existing records
Create new records when no results are found
Step 1: Open Universal Search
You can access Universal Search in two ways:
Click the Search bar at the top of the screen
Use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + K (Windows) or Cmd + K (Mac)
A popup search window will appear.
Step 2: Search for Records
Type your search term into the search field
βResults will populate automatically as you type
Use the left-hand menu to filter results by:
All Categories
Contacts
Opportunities
Products
Click any result to open the full record immediately
Step 3: Create a New Contact or Opportunity from Search
If no results are found in Contacts or Opportunities, Kyrios will offer a quick-create option.
Enter a search term with no existing match
Select the relevant category (Contacts or Opportunities)
Click the Add link shown in the results
Complete the required fields to create the new record
This allows you to create records without leaving Universal Search.
Common Issues and Fixes
No results appear for an existing record
Check spelling and partial matches
Try filtering by All Categories
Confirm the record exists in the current account

Ensure you are in Contacts or Opportunities
