Who This Is For / When to Use
Use this feature when a contact has multiple email addresses (work, personal, shared inboxes) and you need to store them under one contact while controlling which email is used for communication.
What Are Additional Emails
Each contact can have:
1 Primary Email
Up to 10 Additional Emails
Maximum total: 11 email addresses per contact
The Primary Email is used by default for all emails, workflows, and communications, but you can manually select another email when sending.
How to Add Additional Emails to a New or Existing Contact
Go to Contacts.
Click + Add Contact or select an existing one.
Enter the primary email.
Click + Add in the Contact section.
Select Email.
Enter the additional email address.
Click Save.
How to Set or Change the Primary Email
Open the contact’s Contact Details.
Locate all email addresses under the Email section.
Click the radio button next to the email you want to set as primary.
Click Save.
The selected email becomes the new primary email.
Email Limits and Errors
You can add up to 10 additional emails.
When the limit is reached, an error appears and no more emails can be added.
How Email Selection Works When Sending
When composing an email, Kyrios automatically selects the Primary Email.
You can manually choose any other email from the dropdown before sending.
Important Behavior Notes
Only one email can be primary at a time.
Changing the primary email affects:
Email sends
Campaigns
Workflow actions
Unsubscribe (DND) applies to the entire contact.
If a contact unsubscribes, all email addresses on that contact stop receiving emails.
Common Issues and Fixes
I can’t add another email
You’ve reached the 10 additional email limit.
Emails are sending to the wrong address
Verify the correct email is marked as Primary.
A contact unsubscribed but still has multiple emails
This is expected.
DND applies to the contact record, not individual email addresses.
