Who This Is For / When to Use
Use this when a contact has more than one phone number (mobile, work, home, landline) and you need to store, label, or switch which number is primary.
What Are Additional Phone Numbers
Each contact can have:
1 Primary phone number
Up to 10 additional phone numbers
Maximum total: 11 phone numbers per contact
Each phone number can be labeled and edited individually.
How to Add Additional Phone Numbers to a Contact
Add Phone Numbers to a New or Existing Contact
Go to Contacts.
Create a contact or click a contact name to open Contact Details.
In the Contact section, locate Phone (Primary).
Click the + icon next to Phone.
Enter the additional phone number.
Select a label from the dropdown:
Home
Work
Mobile
Landline
Click Save.
How to Set or Change the Primary Phone Number
Open the contact’s Contact Details.
Locate all phone numbers under the Phone section.
Click the radio button next to the phone number you want to make primary.
Click Save.
The selected number becomes the primary phone number immediately.

Rules:
Each label can be used only once per contact
Labels can be changed at any time
Editing or Removing Phone Numbers
Edit a Phone Number
Click into the phone field and update the number or label.
Save changes.
Delete a Phone Number
Click the trash icon next to the number.
Save changes.
Important Behavior Notes
If no primary number is selected, the first phone number added is treated as primary.
All phone numbers (primary and additional) can be used for calling.
Changes sync across all connected devices and apps.
Common Issues and Fixes
I can’t add another phone number
Check if you’ve reached the 11-number limit.
I can’t select a label
Each label can only be used once.
Change or remove an existing label to reuse it.
Calls are going to the wrong number
Verify the correct number is marked as Primary.
