A contact’s Engagement Score reflects how actively they interact with your business.
Scores are calculated using predefined scoring rules based on actions such as:

  • Email opens and replies

  • Appointment confirmations and bookings

  • Form submissions

  • Other tracked engagement activities

Managing Engagement Scoring

Edit or Publish a Score Profile

  1. Navigate to Manage Scoring.

  2. Open the Engagement Score profile.

  3. Edit the profile name or description if needed.

  4. Add or adjust scoring rules.

  5. Toggle from Draft to Publish to apply scoring to all contacts.

What the Contact Engagement Score Trigger Does

This trigger evaluates a contact’s Engagement Score and adds them to a workflow when the score matches your defined conditions.

It can also include additional filters, such as business-related fields, for more precise targeting.

You can trigger workflows using any of the following score conditions:

How to Set Up the Contact Engagement Score Trigger

Step 1: Create or Edit a Workflow

  1. Go to Automations > Workflows.

  2. Click + Create Workflow, or open an existing workflow for editing.

Step 2: Add the Contact Engagement Score Trigger

  1. Click Add New Trigger in the workflow canvas.

  2. Select Contact as the trigger category.

  3. Choose Contact Engagement Score.

Step 3: Configure Trigger Filters

  1. Set the Score condition (for example, Greater than or equal to 195).

  2. (Optional) Add additional filters such as Business Niche.

  3. Click Add filters to include more conditions if needed.

Step 4: Save the Trigger

  1. Review all trigger conditions.

  2. Save the trigger to apply it to the workflow.

Example Use Case

A workflow is configured to trigger when:

  • Engagement Score is greater than 195

  • Business Niche contains Education

When a contact meets both conditions, they are automatically enrolled in a workflow that sends a follow-up email campaign.

Publish and Test the Workflow

  1. Click Save.

  2. Use Test Workflow to validate behavior.

  3. Toggle the workflow from Draft to Publish to activate it.

  • Confirm the workflow is published

  • Ensure the contact’s Engagement Score meets the filter conditions

  • Verify that scoring rules are published and actively updating scores
