What Dashboard Summary AI Does
Dashboard Summary AI adds an AI analysis layer on top of your dashboards and widgets.
It does not change dashboard data.
It interprets and explains existing data.
Core capabilities:
Summarizes overall dashboard performance
Highlights growth, drops, and anomalies
Explains opportunity value and conversion trends
Provides suggested next steps based on data patterns
Allows follow-up questions on supported widgets
How to Generate a Dashboard AI Summary
Open any Dashboard.
Locate the Summarize Dashboard button at the top of the dashboard.
Click the button to generate an AI summary.
What the Summary Includes
Key performance highlights
Percentage changes vs previous periods
Opportunity status breakdowns
Conversion and efficiency insights
AI-generated recommendations
The summary appears in a side panel and updates based on the dashboard’s active filters.
How to Use AI Insights on Individual Dashboard Widgets
AI insights are also available at the widget level.
Hover over a supported dashboard widget.
Click the AI Insights icon.
Review the widget-specific AI explanation.

Asking Follow-Up Questions
You can ask follow-up questions directly inside the AI summary panel.
Follow-ups allow you to:

Explore what is driving growth or decline
Request deeper explanations for a specific insight
Important Limitation
Follow-up questions work only on custom widgets
Follow-ups are not supported on standard widgets
Requirements to Use Dashboard Summary AI
To use dashboard and widget AI summaries, the following must be enabled:
AI Employee must be active on the account
Without AI Employee enabled:
Dashboard summaries will not generate
Widget AI insights will not appear
AI Employee Model Window Behavior
When AI Employee is enabled:
All generated summaries are stored in the AI Employee model window
Users can browse previous dashboard summaries
Widget-level AI explanations remain accessible for reference
This allows users to revisit insights without regenerating them.
Common Issues and Fixes
“Summarize Dashboard” Button Is Missing
Confirm AI Employee is enabled
Refresh the dashboard
Check user permissions for dashboards
Follow-Up Questions Not Working
Confirm the widget is a custom widget
Follow-ups do not work on standard widgets
