Who This Is For / When to Use
This feature is for users who need to associate many contacts with a company, update an existing company association, or remove contacts from a company without editing records one by one.
How to Add or Edit Contacts to a Company in Bulk
Step 1: Open the Contacts List
Navigate to Contacts from the left-hand menu.
Use checkboxes to select one or more contacts from the list.
Step 2: Open the Bulk Action Menu
After selecting contacts, click More in the top action bar.
Select Manage Companies.
Step 3: Choose Add or Update Company
In the modal, select Add/Update to company.
Enter an Action Name (required). This is used for tracking in Bulk Actions.
Select an existing company from the Select company dropdown.
Step 4: Confirm the Bulk Action
Review the details.
Click Confirm to start the bulk process.
How to Remove Contacts from a Company in Bulk
Select the contacts in Contacts.
Click More → Manage Companies.
Choose Remove from company.
Enter an Action Name.
Click Confirm.
Removing a contact from a company only removes the association. The contact record remains unchanged.
Monitor Bulk Action Progress
Go to Contacts > Bulk Actions.
View the status of each action (In Progress or Complete).
Click Show Stats to review results.
Important Notes
Bulk actions are processed over time, not instantly.
Progress and completion details are available on the Bulk Actions page.
If a contact is already associated with a company, Add/Update to company will overwrite the existing association.
Companies must already exist before they can be assigned.
Common Issues and Fixes
Bulk action does not start
Ensure at least one contact is selected.
Ensure an Action Name and company are selected.
Contacts assigned to the wrong company
Verify the selected company before confirming.
Remember that this action overwrites existing company associations.
Bulk action is taking longer than expected
Large contact selections may take more time to process.
Check progress in Contacts > Bulk Actions.
