Receive regular comments on Facebook Pages or Instagram Business posts
Want to automatically reply to comments without manual monitoring
Use Workflows to engage leads from social channels
Need to add buttons, links, or calls directly in comment replies
This feature is not supported for:
Facebook Groups
Personal Facebook or Instagram accounts
Prerequisites
A connected Facebook Page and/or Instagram Business Account
Access to Automation > Workflows
Use of one of the following triggers:
Facebook – Comment(s) on a Post
Instagram – Comment(s) on a Post
How to Set Up Respond On Comment
Step 1: Create or Open a Workflow
Go to Automation > Workflows.
Click Create Workflow, or open an existing workflow.
Step 2: Add a Comment Trigger
Click Add New Trigger.
Choose one of the following triggers:
Facebook – Comment(s) on a Post
Instagram – Comment(s) on a Post
Step 3: Configure Page and Post Filters
Select the Page where the post exists.
Choose a Post Type:
Published Post – Select from your page’s live posts
Custom Post – Paste the post URL or Post ID
(Optional) Add comment filters such as:
Contains Phrase
Exact Match
Step 4: (Optional) Track First-Level Comments Only
Enable Track First Level Comments Only if you want the workflow to trigger only on top-level comments.
If disabled, replies to nested comments are also included.
This setting does not work for Facebook Groups.
Step 5: Add the Respond On Comment Action
Click Add Action.
Select Respond On Comment.
Add one or more comment replies.
When multiple replies are added, one is chosen at random.
Step 6: (Optional) Like the Comment
Enable Like Comments to automatically like the user’s comment.
Available for Facebook posts only.
Step 7: Add Buttons to the Reply (Optional)
You can add up to 3 buttons to each reply.
Button types:
Open Website – Redirects to a URL
Call Number – Initiates a phone call (final action)
Perform Actions – Continues the workflow
Button setup order:
Button Name
Button Type
URL or Phone Number (if applicable)
Step 8: Save and Publish
Click Save Action.
Publish the workflow.
Example Outcome
When a user comments on a qualifying post, Kyrios automatically replies publicly with your configured message and buttons.
Common Issues and Fixes
Workflow does not trigger
Confirm the correct Facebook or Instagram page is selected
Ensure the post type (Published vs Custom) matches the post
Verify comment filters are not too restrictive
No replies sent
Make sure the workflow is published
Check that re-entry rules allow multiple triggers if needed
Buttons not clickable
Ensure a valid URL or phone number is entered
Remember: Call buttons end the workflow
FAQ
Can I respond to both Facebook and Instagram comments?
Yes. Create separate triggers for Facebook and Instagram within the same or different workflows.
Are replies posted publicly?
Yes. All responses appear as public replies under the original comment.
Can I add multiple reply variations?
Yes. Kyrios randomly selects one reply from the list.
What happens if a user comments multiple times?
This depends on your workflow’s Allow Re-entry setting.
Can I use this for Facebook Groups?
No. Respond On Comment does not support Facebook Groups.
