How to Configure Custom Notifications as a User

This article explains how users can configure in-app, email, and SMS notifications in Kyrios to control how and when they receive alerts for conversations, tasks, calendars, and reviews.

Who This Is For / When to Use

  • Users who want to control how they receive notifications

  • Team members managing conversations, tasks, or appointments

  • Users who need reminders aligned to their time zone and work hours


Access Notification Settings

  1. Click Settings from the bottom-left of the Kyrios app.

  2. Select My Profile from the left-hand menu.

  3. Open the Notifications tab at the top.


Understand Notification Channels

Each notification type can be enabled per channel:

  • In-App – Notifications inside Kyrios (web and mobile)

  • Email – Notifications sent to your user email

  • SMS – Notifications sent to your phone number


Configure Conversation Notifications

Under Conversation Notifications, enable alerts for:

  • All new conversations and messages

  • Conversations assigned to you

  • New messages on conversations assigned to you

  • Mentions and replies where you are mentioned

Check the box under In-App, Email, or SMS for each option.


Configure Task Notifications

Under Task Notifications, you can:

  1. Enable notifications when a task is assigned to you

  2. Set reminder timing (for example, 15 minutes before due time)

  3. Enable daily summaries for:

    • Due tasks

    • Overdue tasks

  4. Choose the delivery time for daily summaries (based on your time zone)


Configure Calendar Notifications

You can receive notifications for:

  • New appointments booked

  • Appointments assigned to you

  • Reminder alerts before upcoming appointments (15/30/45/60 minutes)

These notifications redirect directly to the related calendar item when clicked.


Configure Review & Integration Notifications

Enable notifications for:

  • WordPress – New WordPress service purchased (Admin only)

  • Facebook – New review received

  • Google – New review received


Save Your Settings

  1. Review all selected notification options.

  2. Click Save in the bottom-right corner to apply changes.


Use the Notifications Panel

Mark All as Read

Click Mark all as read to mark all current notifications as read.

Clear All Notifications

  1. Open the notifications panel.

  2. Click the three-dot menu.

  3. Select Clear All Notifications.

This removes all currently loaded notifications for the logged-in user. Cleared notifications cannot be restored.

Mobile App Notifications

  • Mobile notifications are delivered via the Kyrios mobile app.

  • App notification permissions must be enabled on your device.

Android: Enable notifications in device app settings
iOS: Enable notifications in iOS notification settings


Common Issues and Fixes

Not receiving desktop notifications

  • Ensure browser notifications are enabled for Kyrios.

  • Check that In-App notifications are enabled in settings.

Not receiving mobile notifications

  • Confirm notification permissions are enabled on your phone.

  • Ensure you are logged into the correct account in the mobile app.

Notifications arriving at the wrong time

  • Verify your time zone in profile settings.

  • Daily summaries automatically adjust when time zone changes.


FAQ

How many notifications load at once?
25 notifications load initially. Scrolling loads the next 25.

What does “Clear All” do?
It removes all currently fetched notifications for the user session. They cannot be recovered.

Can I customize reminder timing?
Yes. Task reminders support 15, 30, or 60-minute intervals.

Do notifications adjust if my time zone changes?
Yes. All reminders and summaries automatically update based on your current time zone.
