Updated over 3 months ago

Who This Is For / When to Use

Use this if you want to standardize all scheduling to one time zone or allow contacts to interact with your calendars in their local time.

Understanding Alternate Time Zones in Kyrios

Kyrios supports two related time zone controls:

  1. Contact Time Zone (Alternate Time Zones) – Allows or prevents contacts from using a different time zone than your account.

  2. Account Time Zone (Business Profile Time Zone) – The primary time zone used across tasks, appointments, and timestamps.

These settings affect tasks, calendars, appointments, and how due dates and times are displayed.

Turn Contact Alternate Time Zones On or Off

What This Setting Does

  • Enabled (default): Contacts can book or view appointments in their own local time zone.

  • Disabled: All appointments are forced into the account’s primary time zone, and contacts cannot select another time zone.

Steps to Disable or Enable Contact Time Zones

  1. Open Settings in your Kyrios account.

  2. Select Business Profile.

  3. Scroll to the General section.

  4. Locate Disable Contact Time Zone.

  5. Check the box to disable alternate contact time zones, or uncheck it to enable them.

What Happens When Contact Time Zone Is Disabled

  • All appointments use the time zone set in Business Profile.

  • The time zone dropdown is hidden in calendar widgets.

  • Contacts and users cannot schedule in alternate time zones.
