How to Integrate a Stripe Account in Kyrios

Connecting a Stripe account to Kyrios allows businesses to accept payments across funnels, invoices, forms, subscriptions, and payment links while managing payment methods directly inside Kyrios.

This article is for business owners and administrators who want to connect Stripe to Kyrios in order to charge customers using cards, wallets, bank debits, and region-specific payment methods.


What the Stripe integration enables

The Stripe integration allows Kyrios to process payments securely using Stripe as the payment provider.

Once connected, Stripe can be used for:

  • Funnels (one-step and two-step order forms)

  • Invoices and invoices with auto-pay

  • Payment links

  • Forms

  • Ecommerce stores

  • Calendars

  • Courses, communities, and subscriptions

Stripe must be connected to enable advanced payment methods and regional options.


Step-by-step: Connect a Stripe account

Step 1: Create or access a Stripe account

A Stripe account is required before connecting it to Kyrios.

  1. Create a new Stripe account or log in to an existing one

  2. Ensure the account owner or authorized manager completes the setup


Step 2: Open Payment Integrations in Kyrios

Stripe is connected from the Payments section inside Kyrios.

  1. Go to Payments → Integrations

  2. Locate Stripe under Payment Providers

  3. Click Connect


Step 3: Complete Stripe authentication

Authenticate the Stripe account to finish the connection.

  1. Sign in to Stripe when prompted

  2. Approve access for Kyrios

  3. Return to Kyrios once authentication is complete


Step 4: Confirm Stripe connection status

After connecting, Stripe will show as enabled inside Kyrios.

  • Live mode and Test mode will appear as enabled

  • A Disconnect button will be available if changes are needed


Managing Stripe payment methods in Kyrios

Kyrios allows businesses to manage Stripe payment methods directly in the platform without using the Stripe dashboard.

Payment methods can be enabled or disabled per product area and configured separately for Live and Test modes.


Open payment method configuration

Access Stripe payment method controls from the integration screen.

  1. Go to Payments → Integrations → Stripe

  2. Click Manage Payment Methods

Enable or disable payment methods

Payment methods are displayed dynamically based on region and Stripe support.

Supported methods include:

  • Cards

  • Apple Pay and Google Pay

  • ACH, SEPA, BACS, BECS Direct Debit

  • Affirm, Klarna, Afterpay

  • iDEAL, Bancontact, FPX

  • Cash App (US), GrabPay (Malaysia), Zip (Australia)

Enabled payment methods automatically appear on checkout and payment screens.

Regional payment method behavior

Stripe displays payment methods based on customer location.

Examples:

  • BACS Direct Debit for the UK

  • BECS Direct Debit for Australia

  • FPX for Malaysia

  • iDEAL for the Netherlands

  • Bancontact for Belgium


Important limitations

  • Stripe must be the default payment provider

  • Editing payment methods directly in Stripe is no longer supported

  • Changes may take time to propagate across accounts


Common issues and fixes

Stripe does not appear as connected

Ensure the Stripe authentication flow was fully completed and the correct account was selected.


Payment methods are missing

Verify the method is enabled in Manage Payment Methods and supported in the customer’s region.


Test mode vs live mode confusion

Confirm you are configuring the correct mode before testing payments.

Can I test payments before going live?

Yes. Kyrios supports Stripe Test Mode and Live Mode separately.


Where are Stripe transactions recorded?

All Stripe transactions appear under the Payments menu and trigger standard events such as Order Submitted and Payment Received.
