How Payment Method Management Works in Kyrios
Kyrios allows you to manage Stripe payment methods directly inside the platform, without using the Stripe dashboard.
Key behavior to understand:
Payment methods are managed per product area.
Live mode and Test mode are configured separately.
Existing accounts keep their original Stripe configuration until changed.
Once managed in Kyrios, payment methods can no longer be edited in Stripe.
Important: After enabling payment method management in Kyrios, Stripe dashboard controls for payment methods are disabled.
How to Manage Stripe Payment Methods
Follow these steps to manage payment methods:
Open Payments from the left navigation.
Select Integrations at the top.
Locate Stripe and click Manage.
Click Manage Payment Methods.
Enable or disable payment methods for each product area.
Configure settings separately for Live and Test modes.
Changes apply immediately to new transactions.
Common Issues and Fixes
Payment method is blocked
This means the payment method is not yet supported for all connected accounts.
No action is required unless support is expanded.
Payment methods look different than Stripe
Existing accounts retain their previous Stripe configuration until updated in Kyrios.
This is expected behavior.
Cannot edit payment methods in Stripe
Once Kyrios manages payment methods, Stripe dashboard editing is disabled.
All changes must be made inside Kyrios.
