Who This Is For / When to Use
This feature is for community admins or authorized moderators who want to engage members in real time for live discussions, workshops, announcements, Q&A sessions, or broadcasts without using external platforms.
What Go Live Does
Go Live enables real-time sessions directly inside a community group, allowing members to join instantly, interact through chat and reactions, and participate in live video or streamed events without leaving the community.
Live Session Modes Available
Go Live supports two live session modes. The mode must be selected before starting the session and cannot be changed once the session is live.
Meeting Room Mode (Interactive Sessions)
Meeting Room mode is designed for collaborative, real-time interaction between hosts and participants.
It supports:
Video and microphone preview before joining
Host and participant role separation
Live chat and reactions
Screen sharing for presentations
Raise hand functionality
Grid and speaker layout views
Host controls for muting, granting access, or removing participants
Optional session recording with replay access
Stream Software Mode (Broadcast Sessions)
Stream Software mode is designed for one-to-many broadcasts using external streaming tools.
It supports:
Auto-generated Stream Key and Stream URL
Integration with external streaming software
Live chat and reactions within the community
Stable playback for larger audiences
This mode is best suited for webinars, announcements, or creator-led broadcasts.
