Who This Is For / When to Use
Use Trigger Automation when you need to run a workflow for Company or Custom Object records that already exist. This is useful when you do not want to wait for another workflow trigger or update each record individually.
Common use cases include:
Starting onboarding or follow-up workflows for multiple Companies
Triggering renewal workflows for Custom Object records such as Policies or Subscriptions
Processing imported Custom Object records
Running a one-time operational workflow for selected records
Reprocessing a specific group of existing records
What Trigger Automation Does
Trigger Automation lets you manually enroll multiple selected Company or Custom Object records into a workflow.
You can:
Select multiple records from the list view
Choose the workflow you want to run
Trigger the workflow for all selected records at once
Monitor the bulk operation from Bulk Actions
Review results at the individual record level
You do not need to edit each record to start the workflow.
How to Trigger a Workflow in Bulk
Open Companies or the Custom Object you want to work with.
Select the records that should enter the workflow.
Click Trigger Automation.
Select the workflow you want to run.
Review the selected workflow and records.
Confirm the action.
Kyrios then processes the selected records through the bulk action.
How to Monitor the Bulk Action
After confirming Trigger Automation, open Bulk Actions to monitor processing.
Bulk Actions shows the progress of the operation and lets you review record-level results. Use the record-level results to identify which selected records were processed successfully and whether any records require further review.
Example: Start an Onboarding Workflow for Existing Companies
A business creates a new onboarding workflow after several Company records already exist.
Instead of editing each Company or waiting for another event to trigger the workflow:
Open Companies.
Select the Companies that require onboarding.
Click Trigger Automation.
Select the onboarding workflow.
Confirm the bulk action.
The selected Companies are processed without requiring individual record updates.
Example: Process Imported Custom Object Records
A set of Subscription records is imported into a Custom Object and needs to enter an existing renewal workflow. Select the imported Subscription records, choose Trigger Automation, and select the renewal workflow. This allows the existing records to enter the workflow immediately instead of waiting for a future trigger condition.
Common Issues and Fixes
I do not see the record I want to process
Confirm that you are viewing the correct Companies or Custom Object list and that the record exists in that list.
Only records selected from the current list view are included in the bulk action.
The wrong records were selected
Review your record selection before confirming Trigger Automation.
Only the records selected when the bulk action is confirmed are submitted for processing.
I need to check whether every record was processed
Open Bulk Actions and review the record-level results for the operation.
The bulk action results provide the processing status for individual records.
I only need to trigger the workflow for one record
Select only that record and use Trigger Automation.
The same action can be used for a single selected record or multiple selected records.
