What Brand Voice and Brand Kit Do in Agent Studio
Brand Voice controls how AI-generated content sounds.
Brand Voice can guide:
Tone
Messaging style
Personality
Word choice
Call-to-action style
Brand Kit, also called Design Kit in Brand Boards, controls how AI-generated content looks.
Brand Kit can guide:
Colors
Fonts
Logos
Visual identity
When a Brand Voice or Brand Kit is selected inside a generation node, Agent Studio uses those brand settings when the node runs.
Where to Create Brand Voice and Brand Kit
Create or manage Brand Voice and Brand Kit from Marketing β Brand Boards. Use the Design Kit tab for visual brand settings. Use the Brand Voice tab for tone and messaging settings.
How Branding Works Across Generation Nodes
Brand settings can be applied to AI generation nodes in Agent Studio.
Supported generation node types include:
Text Generation
Image Generation
Video Generation
Audio Generation
Text Generation uses Brand Voice to guide tone, structure, and wording. Image Generation and Video Generation use Brand Kit details such as brand colors, logo guidance, and visual direction, where supported. Audio Generation uses Brand Voice to guide the tone and style of generated scripts or spoken content.
How to Apply a Brand Voice in Agent Studio
Go to AI Agents β Agent Studio.
Open an existing agent or create a new agent.
Add a generation node, such as Text Generation.
Click the generation node to open its settings.
Find the Brand voice dropdown.
Select the Brand Voice you want to use.
Click Save.
The selected Brand Voice applies only to that node.
How to Create a New Brand Voice from a Node
Use the + Add new option in the Brand voice dropdown when you need to create a Brand Voice without leaving the node settings. After creating the new Brand Voice, select it in the dropdown and save the node.
Brand Board Sync Behavior
Brand settings are pulled from Brand Boards. If you update a Brand Voice or Brand Kit, future node runs use the updated brand settings. Existing generated content does not update automatically after a Brand Board change.
Multi-Brand Workflows
Different generation nodes can use different Brand Voices or Brand Kits inside the same agent.
Use this when:
Managing multiple brands
Running agency workflows
Supporting franchise or location-specific messaging
Testing different tones or visual styles
Each node follows its own selected brand settings independently.
Common Issues and Fixes
No Brand Voice appears in the dropdown
Create a Brand Voice first from Marketing β Brand Boards. After creating it, return to Agent Studio and reopen the node settings.
Generated content does not match the brand
Check that the correct Brand Voice or Brand Kit is selected in the node. Also, review the node prompt. Prompt instructions can influence the output for that run.
Updated brand settings are not changing old content
Brand Board updates only affect future node runs. Regenerate the content if you want the latest brand settings applied.
I only want to apply tone, not visuals
Select a Brand Voice and leave the Brand Kit option unset or set to None where available.
I only want to apply visuals, not tone
