Use this when you want every new lead — regardless of source — to receive an automated Marketing Audit Report.
What Changed
Previously:
Marketing Audit Reports could only be generated for leads created through the Prospecting Tool.
Now:
Generate Marketing Audit Report is available as a Workflow action.
The audit can be triggered for any contact created from any source.
This removes source limitations and standardizes audit generation across your entire lead flow.
Supported Lead Sources
You can now generate audit reports for leads from:
Facebook Ads
Google Ads
Funnels and landing pages
Website forms
Manual contact creation
Imports
Third-party integrations
Prospecting Tool
All lead sources are supported as long as Prospecting is enabled for the account.
What the Marketing Audit Report Includes
When triggered, the audit analyzes:
Website performance and technical health
Google Business Profile setup and configuration
Local search rankings
Heatmaps and top 10 GBP competitors
Online reviews and reputation
Listings and business presence accuracy
The completed audit attaches to the contact record.
How to Add the Generate Marketing Audit Report Action
Go to Automations > Workflows.
Open an existing Workflow or create a new one.
Add a trigger (example: Contact Created).
Click + Add Action.
Select Generate Marketing Audit Report.
Save and publish the Workflow.
The audit will automatically run when the trigger conditions are met.
What Happens After the Audit Runs
The audit is generated automatically.
The report attaches to the contact record.
You can use audit results inside additional automation steps.
You can build logic such as:
Add a tag if website health is poor
Notify your sales team
Route the lead to a specific pipeline
Trigger follow-up sequences based on audit data
Availability Requirements
This action is only available in accounts where the Prospecting Tool is enabled.
To enable Prospecting:
Go to the Agency Dashboard.
Navigate to the Reselling tab.
Enable Prospecting for the account.
If Prospecting is already active, no additional setup is required.
Common Issues and Fixes
“Generate Marketing Audit Report” action not visible
Cause: Prospecting Tool is not enabled.
Fix: Enable Prospecting from the Agency Dashboard under the Reselling tab.
Audit did not generate
Cause: Required business data (such as website URL or business name) is missing from the contact record.
Fix: Ensure required fields are populated before triggering the audit.

Can I run the audit for leads not created through Prospecting?
Yes. The Workflow action allows you to generate audits for any lead source.
Does this replace the Prospecting Tool audit process?
No. The Prospecting Tool still works as before. This update expands audit generation to Workflows.
Can I trigger different automations based on audit results?
Yes. You can add conditional logic after the audit action to route, tag, notify, or follow up based on audit insights.
Does the audit generate automatically for all leads?
No. You must add the Generate Marketing Audit Report action inside a Workflow to automate it.
