Use case: Review targeting or creative before performance declines further.

Applying Alerts at Different Levels

Alerts can be configured for:

  • Individual campaigns

  • Campaign groups

  • Cross-platform grouped campaigns

Ensure the correct scope is selected before saving.

How Alerts Differ from Agent Rules

Custom Alerts:

  • Notify only

  • Do not change campaign settings

  • Require manual response

Agent Rules:

  • Automatically increase or decrease budget

  • Can pause campaigns

  • Execute predefined actions

Alerts are ideal for manual oversight. Rules are ideal for automation.

Best Practices

  • Use alerts before implementing aggressive rules

  • Avoid setting overly sensitive thresholds

  • Align alerts with business capacity

  • Review alerts regularly

Alert Did Not Trigger

Confirm:

  • Threshold was reached

  • Evaluation window completed
