What the Valid WhatsApp Field Means
The Valid WhatsApp field appears at the contact level and indicates whether a phone number is active on WhatsApp.
Possible values:
Valid: The phone number is active on WhatsApp.
Invalid: The phone number is not available on WhatsApp.
Not Validated: The system has not yet confirmed WhatsApp availability.
How WhatsApp Status Is Automatically Updated
The Valid WhatsApp field updates automatically based on real activity.
Message delivered successfully → Status becomes Valid.
Message delivery fails or Meta returns an error → Status becomes Invalid.
Contact sends an inbound WhatsApp message → Status becomes Valid immediately.
No WhatsApp interaction → Status remains Not Validated.
No manual updates are supported.
Viewing WhatsApp DND Status on a Contact
Each contact includes WhatsApp-specific Do Not Disturb (DND) controls.
If WhatsApp DND is enabled, the contact cannot receive outbound WhatsApp messages.
DND can apply to WhatsApp only or all channels.
Using Advanced Filters to Find WhatsApp-Enabled Contacts
You can filter contacts using Advanced Filters to identify WhatsApp-ready contacts.
Open Advanced Filters
Go to Contacts.
Click Advanced Filters.
Locate the Valid WhatsApp Filter
In Advanced Filters, search for Valid WhatsApp.
Select the field under Contact Information.
Filter by WhatsApp Status
Choose one of the following conditions:
Is → Valid
Is → Invalid
Is → Not Validated
Creating a Smart List for WhatsApp Campaigns
To safely send WhatsApp campaigns, create a Smart List that excludes invalid numbers.
Recommended Smart List Logic
Valid WhatsApp → Is → Valid
ORValid WhatsApp → Is → Not Validated
This ensures messages are sent only to contacts that are confirmed or not yet checked.

A dedicated Valid WhatsApp column can be displayed in the Contacts table for quick reference.
Use this column to scan WhatsApp readiness without opening individual records.
WhatsApp Contact Name Pre-Fill
When an unknown contact sends a WhatsApp message:
Kyrios automatically pulls the first and last name from the contact’s WhatsApp profile.
This only applies if the contact does not already exist.
This improves data quality without manual entry.
Automated WhatsApp Do Not Disturb (DND)
Kyrios enforces WhatsApp compliance automatically.
If a contact replies with Stop or Unsubscribe, WhatsApp DND is applied automatically.
WhatsApp DND is removed only when the contact sends another inbound message.
Common Issues and Fixes
Contact shows Not Validated
No WhatsApp conversation has occurred yet. Send a message or wait for inbound activity.
Contact is marked Invalid
The phone number is not registered on WhatsApp or delivery failed.
Message not sending
Check WhatsApp DND status and confirm the contact is not opted out.
