Who This Is For / When to Use

Use this when you want to control how quiz results are displayed, manage scoring tiers globally, or reorganize result sections without rebuilding your quiz.


What You Can Customize on Quiz Result Pages

Quiz Result Pages support two core capabilities:

  • Section Control – Manage layout, visibility, and order of result sections.

  • Global Score Tiers – Apply consistent Low, Medium, and High score ranges across quizzes.

These features ensure accurate scoring, clean layouts, and predictable automation triggers.


Accessing the Quiz Result Template

  1. Go to Sites → Quizzes.

  2. Click + Add Quiz or open an existing quiz.

  3. Scroll to the bottom of the quiz editor.

  4. Locate the Result Template card.

  5. Click Edit Template.


Understanding the Result Page Editor

The Result Page editor is divided into three areas:

  • Section Panel (Left): Lists all result sections.

  • Live Preview (Center): Shows real-time changes.

  • Settings Panel (Right): Controls layout, content, and styling.


Managing Result Page Sections

Available Sections

You can add or manage these section types:

  • Header

  • Overall Score

  • Category Score

  • Individual Category

  • Call to Action

  • Footer

Each section is independently configurable.


Reordering Sections (Drag-and-Drop)

  1. Hover over a section in the left panel.

  2. Click and hold the drag handle.

  3. Move the section to a new position.

  4. Release to save the order.

The preview updates instantly.


Hiding or Deleting Sections

Hide a Section

  • Click the eye icon next to a section.

  • The section is hidden but not removed.

Delete a Section

  • Click the trash icon.

  • Confirm deletion to remove it permanently.

Hidden sections do not appear to quiz takers.


Adding New Sections

  1. Click + Add Section at the bottom of the section panel.

  2. Select the section type you want to insert.

  3. Configure its content and placement.


Configuring Global Score Tiers

Global Score Tiers define how quiz scores are categorized using a 0–100% scale.

How to Configure Score Tiers

  1. In the Result Page editor, click Configure Score Tiers (top-right).

  2. Define ranges for each tier, such as:

    • Low: 0–39%

    • Medium: 40–79%

    • High: 80–100%

  3. Customize labels and colors if needed.

  4. Click Save.

These tiers apply to all future quiz submissions.


Previewing and Saving Your Quiz

  1. Click Preview to test:

    • Section order

    • Visibility

    • Score tier accuracy

  2. Click Save when finished.

Changes apply only to new quiz submissions.


Common Issues and Fixes

Sections not showing on the result page
Check that the section is not hidden in the Section Panel.

Score tiers not matching expectations
Verify percentage ranges in Configure Score Tiers.

Automation not triggering correctly
Ensure workflows reference the correct score tier (Low, Medium, High).


FAQ

Do hidden sections affect quiz scoring?

No. Hidden sections are excluded from display only and do not affect scoring.

Can I change score tier labels?

Yes. Labels and colors are customizable, but all tiers must stay within 0–100%.

Are older quizzes affected by Global Score Tiers?

Older quizzes are migrated automatically. Review tier ranges after migration to confirm accuracy.

Can workflows trigger based on score tiers?

Yes. Use the Quiz Submitted trigger with score tier conditions.

What happens if I delete a section?

Deletion affects only future quiz takers. Past results remain unchanged.

Is drag-and-drop section reordering available on mobile?

No. Drag-and-drop is currently supported on desktop browsers only.

Can I hide multiple sections at once?

Yes. Use Shift (or Cmd/Ctrl) to multi-select sections and toggle visibility together.

If I change Global Score Tiers, will past quiz results update?

No. Changes apply only to new submissions. Historical results remain locked to their original settings.
