What the User Login Trigger Does
The User Login trigger fires when a contact logs into a membership or course.
Important clarification:
“User” refers to a membership or course contact.
It does not refer to internal Kyrios team members.
Each login event can enroll the contact into a workflow and execute the configured actions.
Step 1: Create or Open a Workflow
Navigate to Automations in the left navigation.
Select Workflows.
Click Create Workflow or open an existing workflow to edit.
Step 2: Add the User Login Trigger
In the Workflow Builder, click Add New Trigger.
Search for User Login.
Select Courses → User Login.
Save the trigger.
Step 3: Add Actions to the Workflow
After the trigger is set, add one or more actions that should run when the contact logs in.
Common action types include:
If/Else conditions
Sending email or SMS
Assigning or removing tags
Sending internal notifications
To add an action:
Click the + icon below the trigger.
Choose the action type that fits your use case.
Example: Send an Internal Notification on Login
This example sends an internal alert when a contact logs in.
Add an action.
Select Communication → Send Internal Notification.
Configure the notification details.

Save the action when finished.
Step 4: Publish the Workflow
Click Save.
Toggle the workflow from Draft to Publish.
(Optional) Use Test Workflow to validate behavior.

Workflow does not trigger
Confirm the workflow is published.
Verify the login occurred in a membership or course.
Internal notification not received
Confirm the recipient is correctly assigned.
Check notification settings for the receiving user.
Unexpected enrollments
