Sell or manage memberships or courses in Kyrios.
Want to automatically send login access after signup or purchase.
Grant membership access through workflows or other automated methods.
Need a secure login process without sending passwords by email.
Important Assumption:
This guide assumes membership access is granted separately (for example, by a purchase workflow or manual grant).
How Membership Credentials Work in Kyrios
Kyrios does not send passwords by email.
Contacts receive a Login URL (Magic Link).
If the contact has not set a password, they are redirected to the Set Password page.
The Magic Link is the only supported method for first-time access emails.
Part 1: Workflow to Send Membership Credentials (Welcome Email)
Step 1: Create a New Workflow
Go to Automations & Workflows > Workflows.
Click Create Workflow.
Select Start from Scratch.
Step 2: Add the Trigger (New Signup)
Click Add New Trigger.
Select New Signup (Courses).
(Optional) Add filters to limit this workflow to a specific course or offer.
Save the trigger.
Step 3: Add the Send Email Action
Click the + icon under the trigger.
Select Send Email (Communication).
Step 4: Insert Membership Login Details (Magic Link)
In the email editor, place your cursor where the login details should appear.
Click Custom Values.
Select Course > New Signup.
Insert:
Email
Login URL (Magic Link)

Step 5: Save and Publish
Click Save Action.
Publish the workflow.
This workflow now sends a welcome email with a secure login link whenever a new signup occurs.
Part 2: Workflow to Grant Membership Access (After Purchase)
Step 1: Create a Grant Access Workflow
Go to Automations & Workflows > Workflows.
Click Create Workflow.
Choose Start from Scratch.
Step 2: Add a Purchase-Based Trigger
Examples:
Order Form Submission
Funnel or website purchase
Specific product or page
Save the trigger.
Step 3: Add Course Grant Offer Action
Click the + icon below the trigger.
Select Course Grant Offer.
Choose the membership or course offer.
Save the action.
Step 4: Optional Post-Purchase Actions
After granting access, you may add:
Send Email (purchase confirmation)
Add Contact Tag (for example:
purchased)Send Internal Notification (alert your team)
Important Notes About Passwords and Login
Password fields are not populated automatically.
Password custom fields are not available in most email builders.
Always use the Login URL (Magic Link).
Contacts without a password are redirected to Set Password automatically.
Testing the Membership Credentials Workflow
Correct Testing Method
Use a brand-new email address.
The email must not already exist as a member.
Manual enrollment or tagging will not generate a valid Magic Link for existing users.
Common Issues and Fixes
Magic Link Does Not Work
The contact already exists as a member.
Test using a completely new email address.
User Did Not Receive Email
Confirm the workflow is published.
Check the trigger filters.
Verify the Send Email action is connected.
User Cannot Log In
Confirm the Login URL (Magic Link) is included.
Ensure the user completed the Set Password step.
