What Connecting Google Business Profile Enables
Once connected, you can:
Create and schedule GBP posts from the Social Planner
Manage multiple GBP locations from one account
Publish GBP posts alongside other social channels
Step 1: Open the Social Planner
Navigate to Marketing from the left sidebar.
Click Social Planner.
Confirm you are on the Planner tab.
Step 2: Open Social Planner Settings
You can access Social Planner settings in either way:
Click the gear icon in the top-right corner, or
Go to Social Planner → Settings
Step 3: Open Social Accounts and Start a Connection
In Social Planner Settings, stay on the Social Accounts tab.
Click + Connect Social.
Step 4: Choose Google Business Profile
In the Connect social modal, click Connect GBP.
Step 5: Sign In With Google and Grant Permissions
Select the Google account associated with your Google Business Profile.
Review the permissions requested by Kyrios.
Click Allow to continue.
Important
You must use the Google account that owns or manages the GBP.
Permissions are required to publish posts on your behalf.
Step 6: Choose a Google Business Profile Location
Select the Google Business Profile location you want to connect.
Click Add.
Notes
If a location is already connected, it will show as already added.
Each location is connected individually.
Step 7: Confirm the Connection
After adding the location:
The GBP location appears in Social Accounts.
Status shows Connected with a validity period.
You can now select this GBP location when creating posts in the Social Planner.
Managing Connected Google Business Profiles
You can manage connections at any time from Social Planner → Settings → Social Accounts.
From here, you can:
View connection status
Remove expired or unwanted connections
Reconnect accounts if permissions expire
Common Issues and Fixes
“Location already added”
This means the GBP location is already connected to the Social Planner.
The same location cannot be added twice.
“This location belongs to a chain”
GBP accounts with more than 10 locations are treated as chain businesses.
Google disables the Local Post API for these locations.
Posting to these locations is not supported in the Social Planner.
Cannot publish to GBP after connecting
Confirm the GBP connection is still Active.
Ensure the Google account permissions were not revoked.

How do I connect my Google Business Profile to the Social Planner?
Go to Social Planner → Settings → Social Accounts, click Connect Social, select Connect GBP, sign in with Google, and choose your GBP location.
Can I connect multiple Google Business Profile locations?
Yes. You can connect and manage multiple GBP locations from the same account.
What if I see “location already added”?
This means the location is already connected. You do not need to add it again.
Why can’t I connect a chain location?
If the GBP account has more than 10 locations, Google disables posting via the Local Post API. These locations cannot be used with the Social Planner.
Can I disconnect or reconnect a GBP later?
Yes. You can remove or reconnect GBP locations anytime from Social Planner Settings.
