The Suggestions tab lets you review, accept, or reject publisher-recommended updates to your business listings from one centralized view.

Updated over 2 months ago

Who This Is For / When to Use

Use this feature if you manage business listings across publishers like Google Business Profile, Facebook, Bing, or Yelp and want to control accuracy without logging into each platform individually.

This is especially useful when:

  • Publishers suggest changes based on user edits or automated scans.

  • You want to approve or reject updates before they go live.

  • You manage multiple entities within one Kyrios account.

What the Suggestions Tab Does

The Suggestions tab collects proposed listing updates from connected publishers and displays them in one review queue.

Each suggestion shows:

  • Publisher source (Google, Facebook, Bing, Yelp)

  • Entity name and address

  • Field being updated (hours, attributes, service areas, etc.)

  • Current value vs. suggested value

  • Action controls to approve or reject

Approved updates are synced back to the originating publisher automatically.

How to Access the Suggestions Tab

  1. In the left navigation, go to Reputation Management.

  2. Select Listings at the top.

  3. Open the Suggestions tab.

This view displays all incoming suggestions across your connected publishers.

How to Review Suggestions

Each row represents a single suggested update.

To review:

  1. Locate the suggestion row.

  2. Compare Current Value with Suggested Value.

  3. Use the info icon if available to view field details.

Common suggestion types include:

  • Business attributes (e.g., accessibility, amenities)

  • Service area locations

  • Business hours

  • Categories or descriptions

Filtering Suggestions

Use filters to narrow down what you see:

  • Source filter: View suggestions from a specific publisher.

  • Status filter: View Accepted, Pending, or Rejected suggestions.

  • Entity filter: View suggestions for a specific entity.

This helps prioritize high-impact or time-sensitive updates.

Accepting or Rejecting a Suggestion

Each suggestion has action icons on the right.

  • ✔ Accept: Approves the update and syncs it to the publisher.

  • ✖ Reject: Declines the update and prevents it from syncing.

Once accepted or rejected, the suggestion status updates immediately.

What Happens After You Accept a Suggestion

  • The approved data is sent back to the original publisher.

  • The suggestion moves to an Accepted status.

  • No manual updates are required on individual publisher platforms.

Sync timing depends on the publisher but typically completes automatically.

Common Issues and Fixes

Suggestions not appearing

  • Ensure the publisher is connected.

  • Confirm the entity is active and synced.

Accepted changes not reflected

  • Allow time for publisher processing.

  • Check that the suggestion status shows Accepted, not Pending.

Too many low-impact suggestions

  • Use filters to focus on critical fields like hours, address, and phone number.
