Step 1: Identify the Default Page Connected to the Domain
The verification meta tag must be added to the Default Page connected to the domain.
Go to Settings > Domains.
Locate the domain you want to verify.
Click Manage on the domain.
From the domain details screen, locate the root domain entry.
Open the three-dot menu and select Edit.
In the Edit Domain modal, note the value shown in Default Page.
This page is the only correct location for the verification meta tag.
Step 2: Open the Default Page in the Funnel or Website Builder
Navigate to Sites.
Open the Funnel or Website that contains the Default Page identified in Step 1.
Open the exact page set as the Default Page.
Click the SEO Meta Data icon in the page editor toolbar.
Step 3: Add the Google Verification Meta Tag
In SEO Meta Data, expand Links & Tags.
Locate Custom Meta Tags and click Add.
In the Add a custom meta tag modal:
