Domains: Add, Connect, and Manage Domains in Kyrios

This article explains how to add, connect, configure, renew, and manage internal and external domains in Kyrios, including DNS setup, connected products, default pages, and troubleshooting.

Who This Is For / When to Use

Use this guide if you want to:

  • Add a new domain to your account

  • Connect a domain to a funnel, website, blog, email, or client portal

  • Manage DNS records and connected products

  • Set default and 404/error pages

  • Renew or remove a domain

  • Troubleshoot domain connection issues


Add a New Domain

Step 1: Open Domain Settings

  1. Go to Settings.

  2. Select Domains.

  3. Click + Connect a domain.


Step 2: Choose What You Want to Connect

On the Connect a domain screen, choose the product type you want to connect:

  • Funnel / Website / Store / Blog / Webinar

  • Email

  • WordPress

  • Client Portal

  • Branded Domain


Step 3: Enter Your Domain

  1. Enter your domain or subdomain (for example, example.com).

  2. Enable Add www if you want www.example.com included.

  3. Click Continue.

  4. Select Add record manually if DNS is not auto-configured.


Step 4: Add DNS Records

Add the required DNS records at your domain registrar:

After adding the records, click Verify records.

Important

  • DNS propagation can take up to 24 hours.

  • Verification may fail if records are missing, duplicated, or conflicting.


Using Domain Connect (Supported Registrars)

If your DNS is hosted with supported providers (for example, GoDaddy or Cloudflare), Kyrios may automatically configure DNS using Domain Connect.

  1. Enter your domain.

  2. Continue through the guided setup.

  3. Approve DNS changes when prompted.

  4. Wait for verification to complete.

Manual DNS setup remains available if Domain Connect is not supported.


View and Understand Your Domains List

Internal vs External Domains

  • Internal domains are purchased directly through Kyrios.

  • External domains are connected from third-party registrars.

Each domain shows:

  • Renewal status

  • Subdomains

  • Connected products

  • Action Required indicators

  • Registrar (for external domains)


Manage a Domain

Open Domain Management

From Settings > Domains, click Manage next to a domain.


Connected Products Overview

The Connected Products tab shows:

  • Products connected to each subdomain

  • Action status (All Set or Action Required)

  • Filters by product type (Email, Funnel, Website, Blog)

You can filter connected products by type.


Edit Domain Settings

Edit Domain Configuration

  1. Click the three-dot menu next to a connected product.

  2. Select Edit.


Set a Default Page

The Default Page is the page visitors see when they visit the root domain.

  1. Open Edit Domain.

  2. Select a page under Default Page.

  3. Click Save.


Set a 404 / Error Page

The 404/Error Page appears when a visitor reaches a broken or invalid URL.

  1. Open Edit Domain.

  2. Select a page under Set default 404/Error Page.

  3. Click Save.

Note
If no default or 404 page is set, Kyrios displays an Action Required warning to prevent blank or broken pages.


Robots.txt Configuration

You can add custom robots.txt rules directly in Edit Domain to control search engine crawling behavior.


XML Sitemap

For funnels, websites, blogs, and stores, you can access the XML sitemap from the three-dot menu.


Remove a Domain or Connection

To remove a domain connection:

  1. Click the three-dot menu.

  2. Select Delete.

  3. Confirm deletion.

This removes the domain connection from your account.


Domain Renewal (Internal Domains Only)

View Renewal Settings

  1. Open an internal domain.

  2. Go to Advanced Settings.

  3. Locate Domain Renewal.


Auto-Renew vs Manual Renew

  • Toggle Auto-renew ON or OFF.

  • View renewal date and price.

  • Click Renew Manually if auto-renew is disabled.


Manual Renewal Confirmation

When renewing manually:

  1. Review domain details.

  2. Accept Terms and Conditions.

  3. Click Renew.


Troubleshooting Domain Setup Issues

When DNS verification fails, Kyrios displays a Troubleshoot This Issue link.

Common issues include:

  • Multiple A records found

  • AAAA record conflicts

  • CAA record blocking certificate issuance

  • CNAME or A record mismatches

Follow the troubleshooting link to resolve the specific DNS error.


Frequently Asked Questions

How long does DNS propagation take?

DNS changes can take up to 24 hours to fully propagate.

Can I connect multiple products to the same domain?

Yes. A single domain can connect to multiple products using different subdomains.

Will my domain stop working if Auto-Renew is OFF?

No. The domain continues working until its expiry date. After expiry, it enters a grace period and may be released if not renewed.

Can I test if my domain is connected correctly?

Yes. Use Verify records after adding DNS. Updates may take at least 30 seconds to reflect.
