Connect a Domain or Subdomain to Funnels, Websites, Blogs, or Webinars

Use this guide to connect a custom domain or subdomain to Funnels, Websites, Stores, Blogs, or Webinars in Kyrios using automatic Domain Connect or manual DNS setup.

Who This Is For / When to Use

Use this article if you want to:

  • Connect a domain or subdomain to a Funnel, Website, Store, Blog, or Webinar

  • Use Domain Connect with supported providers (Cloudflare, GoDaddy, IONOS)

  • Resolve domain connection conflicts between product types

  • Proceed with manual DNS when automatic connection is unavailable


Where to Start Domain Connection

  1. Go to Settings > Domains.

  2. Click + Connect a domain in the top-right corner.


Choose the Product Type to Connect

  1. On the Connect a domain screen, select Funnel / Website / Store / Blog / Webinar.

  2. Click Connect.

Each domain or subdomain can only be connected to one primary product type at a time.


Enter Your Domain or Subdomain

  1. Enter your domain (for example: example.com or funnel.example.com).

  2. Enable Also add www if you want Kyrios to connect the www version.

  3. Click Continue.


Automatic Domain Connect (Recommended)

Kyrios will automatically detect if your domain provider supports Domain Connect.

Supported Providers

  • Cloudflare

  • GoDaddy

  • IONOS

How Automatic Authorization Works

  1. When prompted, click Authorize domain.

  2. You will be redirected to your domain provider.

  3. Approve the DNS changes.

  4. Close the provider tab and return to Kyrios.

Kyrios will automatically create the required DNS records.


Domain Connect Conflict Detection

If the domain or subdomain is already connected to another Kyrios product (for example, a Branded Domain), Kyrios will block the connection.

You will see a conflict warning explaining:

  • Which product already uses the domain

  • That the domain must be removed from the other product or replaced

How to Resolve

  • Use a different domain or subdomain, or

  • Remove the domain from the conflicting product before retrying


Manual DNS Setup (If Automatic Connect Is Not Available)

If your provider does not support Domain Connect, select Add record manually.

Kyrios will display the required DNS records you must add at your registrar.

Manual DNS setup is covered in detail in a separate article. Only proceed if you are comfortable editing DNS records.


Verify the Domain Connection

  1. After authorization or DNS updates, click Verify records.

  2. Allow 30 seconds to several minutes for verification.

  3. DNS propagation can take up to 24 hours depending on your provider.

Once verified, the domain will appear as connected in Settings > Domains.


What Happens After Connection

  • The domain becomes available for selection inside Funnels, Websites, Blogs, or Webinars

  • You can manage connected products from the Domains screen

  • Additional settings (default page, 404 page, robots.txt) are configurable later


Common Issues and Fixes

Domain shows “Pending” or does not verify

  • DNS changes may still be propagating

  • Wait up to 24 hours and retry verification

“Conflict with another product” error

  • The domain is already assigned to another Kyrios product

  • Remove it from the conflicting product or use a different subdomain

www version not working

  • Ensure no existing A or CNAME records exist for www

  • Only one record per host is allowed
