Updated over 2 months ago

Who This Is For / When to Use

  • Sales and operations teams managing pipelines in Kyrios.

  • Accounts that need to automatically clean up or remove deals based on workflow logic.

  • Use cases where an opportunity should be removed after a condition is met (for example, disqualification or process completion).

What the Remove Opportunity Action Does

The Remove Opportunity action deletes opportunities from a pipeline.

You can configure the action to:

  • Remove all opportunities for the contact in a selected pipeline.

  • Remove only the opportunity that triggered the workflow or was identified in a prior workflow step.

Removing an opportunity deletes the deal card from the pipeline but does not delete the contact.

Common Issues and Fixes

Opportunity Is Not Removed

  • Confirm the correct pipeline is selected.

  • Ensure the contact actually has an opportunity in that pipeline.

  • Verify the workflow is published, not in draft mode.

Workflow Runs but Deletes the Wrong Opportunity

  • Check whether the action is set to remove all contact opportunities instead of the triggering opportunity.

  • Review prior workflow steps to ensure the correct opportunity is being referenced.
