What Is an Affiliate Payout?
An affiliate payout is the amount an account owner manually pays to an affiliate for eligible commissions earned from completed sales.
Affiliate payouts are calculated from commissions but must be reviewed, approved, and paid manually.
How Affiliate Commissions Are Calculated
Commissions are triggered only after a successful sale in Stripe.
Refunds for one-time products or subscriptions are not automatically tracked.
Commissions can be:
One-time
Recurring, depending on the Stripe product configuration.
If a coupon is used at checkout:
The discounted amount is treated as revenue.
Commission is calculated on the discounted value.
Subscription Cancellation Handling
For subscription products, the Affiliate Manager can delay payouts by:
15 days
30 days
60 days
This delay allows time to deny commissions if a subscription is canceled.
When canceled:
The lead moves to the churned state.
The lead can be reactivated through a new Stripe checkout or enrollment.

All affiliate payments must be:

Campaign-Level Context
Payouts are tied to the campaign configuration.
The Due column reflects when the payout is eligible based on campaign delay settings.
Payouts may be generated before payment is due to allow refund validation.
How Payouts Are Generated
Payouts are created automatically on the 1st of each month.
Each payout represents a defined earning interval.
Actual payment can occur later based on:
Campaign delay rules
Refund or cancellation review
How Commissions Relate to Payouts
Commissions are earned per qualifying sale.
Payouts are a monthly aggregation of approved commissions.
A payout cannot exist without underlying commissions.
Denying a commission reduces the payout amount accordingly.
