Overview of the Migration Process
Switching from FirstPromoter to Affiliate Manager involves three steps:
Export affiliates from FirstPromoter
Format the export file to match Kyrios requirements
Import the affiliates into Affiliate Manager
Each step must be completed in order.
Step 1: Export Affiliates from FirstPromoter
Log in to your FirstPromoter dashboard.
Navigate to Promoters from the left-hand menu.
Click the Export button at the top of the promoters list.
Wait for the export to complete and download the file.
The exported file contains all affiliate records from FirstPromoter.
Step 2: Format the Export File for Kyrios
Before importing, the file must match the supported Affiliate Manager import format.
Required CSV Columns
Your CSV should include the following headers:
First Name
Last Name
Email-id
Phone Number
Industry
Website
Ensure:
The file is saved as CSV
Column names match exactly
Each affiliate appears on a single row
Once formatted correctly, save the file locally.
Step 3: Import Affiliates into Affiliate Manager
Open Affiliate Manager in Kyrios.
Go to Affiliates.
Choose the Upload / Import option.
Upload the formatted CSV file.
After import, affiliates will appear in Affiliate Manager and are ready to be assigned to campaigns.
After Import: Create or Update Campaigns
Once affiliates are available in Affiliate Manager:
Create a new affiliate campaign using Add Campaign, or
Edit an existing campaign and assign the imported affiliates
You can now:
Set commission percentages
Define payout frequency
Publish campaigns so affiliates receive their tracking links
Important Notes and Limitations
Affiliate links are generated only after a campaign is published
Imported affiliates do not receive retroactive credit for past conversions
Existing buyers cannot be retroactively linked to imported affiliates
FAQ
Do imported affiliates automatically receive campaign links?
No. Affiliates receive their links only after they are added to a published Affiliate Manager campaign.
Can I migrate affiliate performance data from FirstPromoter?
No. Only affiliate contact details can be imported. Historical clicks, conversions, and payouts are not migrated.
What file type is supported for import?
Only CSV files are supported.
Can I edit affiliate details after import?
Yes. Imported affiliates can be edited individually inside Affiliate Manager.
Do I need Stripe Connect enabled before importing affiliates?
Stripe Connect is required to run campaigns and manage payouts, but affiliates can be imported before Stripe Connect is enabled.
